08.01.2022 One of the major ways in which we get to heal and process our emotional journey is through worship. - by which we enter His gates with worship and thanksgiving. One of the resources Nicole has through New Life Counselling are songs in which this can be done through. 06.01.2022 I have had two clients this week who have experienced domestic violence and have used our service as a first contact. Being someone who is able to say 'this is not legal, it is not on and it is not tolerated' is SO important and in these cases, has started a chain of events that has had the client's perpetetrator look at being exported back to their country. It is essential that we all have clear lines and boundaries about these subjects so that if we are speaking to someone who perhaps doesn't have that same clarity due to possibly family background or ethnic culture, they can feel empowered and validated to take action.
