25.01.2022 As part of our Nido Philosophy we believe children to be confident and capable learners. We aim to support children to make thoughtful decisions to nurture their growth and development through the 100 languages of learning. Recently the Kinder children have been creating their very own Ochre with the nature they have collected on their Walk-about. Ochre is natural pigments and minerals, originally used to paint Dreamtime Stories and maps. ... The children have crushed, stirred and mixed the different coloured flowers, leaves and soil. They have used their Ochre to create pictures for their room out of the garden.

23.01.2022 A sneak peek into our beautiful environments at Greenwood...

21.01.2022 The Toddler children were given the opportunity to venture to the Atelier where they immediately displayed an evident interest the art easel and paints. Painting is a way for children to do many important things: convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore colour and explore process and outcomes. The children were so engaged in this opportunity, therefore we spent majority of the morning in this space. "Children are naturally creative. It is our job to give them the freedom, materials and space to let their creativity blossom to its full potential" - JEAN VAN'T HUL

15.01.2022 Today, as we celebrate #WorldFoodDay2020 we are giving back through creating a community pantry in our service for all our families to take part in. The COVID-19 global health crisis has been a time to reflect on things we truly cherish and our most basic needs. These uncertain times have made many of us rekindle our appreciation for a thing that some take for granted and many go without: food. We welcome you to take what you need, leave what you can. Thank you.
