22.01.2022 The coronavirus outbreak means this year’s Easter break will look a little different for us all. While we have to change our plans, you can still spend quality ...time with your loved ones in your immediate family just make sure to follow the state rules on indoor and outdoor gatherings. As hard as these times may be, we will always remember them, so it is especially important to make good memories. Check out our Easter break bingo board for things to do during the holiday.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone we have lost property set up in the foyer area as it is coming to the end of the year. These items will be on the table until Monday the 14th of December, then they will be donated to charity if not claimed. We will then place more lost property on the table and continue this process until the first week of January. Please label all of your child's belongings, if they are not labelled one of our lovely educators will label it. This way nothing gets lost

21.01.2022 Hi Families, Thankyou for playing your part in keeping our community safe and dropping your child/ren into the foyer during this crazy time To continue taking extra precautions during this time we are opening our whole foyer to ALL families but ask you do not go into the child/ren's rooms. Please scan in your child for sign in and sign out, and educators will meet you at the door of the room. No parents, siblings or other family members will be able to go into the childre...n's rooms at this stage. We are hoping this is only temporary but are taking every step we can to ensure children's, families' and staff's safety. **please if any parents/guardians have any signs and symptoms of cold, flu or other illness please let Danni know at reception and we will organise for your child to be collected/returned in the front foyer space Thank you again. 21.01.2022 Small world play encourages children to use their imagination and create both everyday and fantasy worlds in familiar surroundings. Children will learn processes such as active learning, imitation, communication and develop socially, intellectually and physically.

21.01.2022 Our Kinder children have been exploring their natural environment and different types of recycling by creating their very own recycled herb garden, made using plastic bottles from our kitchen! Our little learners extend their learning through conversation, how to use the herbs in cooking and exploring different smells.

We’d also like to thank: All others on the frontline, working alongside us to protect South Australians. Everyone who is staying home, buying only what they need, and checking in on their loved ones. All the employees, businesses and delivery drivers making sure we don’t go without. All other essential workers who keep South Australia moving.

15.01.2022 SA Health has issued a health warning for children in childcare, although we don’t have any cases in our centre please be mindful what is currently happening in our community and follow the guidelines if symptoms present in yourself or your children.

13.01.2022 Today the children took part in clean up Australia Day. The Kinder children did a fantastic job cleaning up our car park whilst our younger children did a wonderful job tidying the outdoor yards. We talked about why we are trying to keep our environments clean and how rubbish can effect our wild life.

07.01.2022 Happy International Women's Day Tomorrow we will be wearing something purple to remember and celebrate women all over the world, especially those strong, inspirational women who continue to be an integral part of our Nido community.

06.01.2022 Bringing learning outdoors - all things bugs Outdoor learning experiences set up to demonstrate Reggio Emilia 'the environment as the third teacher'. Materials are thoughtfully added to the environment to promote creativity, thinking and problem solving skills, questions, experimentation and open-ended play. Each activity reflects our children's current interests; insects, building, drawing and exploring. Using open ended materials and small parts we encourage our children to explore their environment, get creative, and spark questions and encourage them to find solutions such as "will this stick?"

05.01.2022 ATTENTION please check our lost property as it is the last day of the month and items that have been there for an extended period of time will be donated to charity. As it is mid week we will donate by close of business tomorrow (Thursday 1st of April) Please let us know if there is anything specific that you are missing so we can look out for it before donating. Please ensure ALL items that are brought into the service are labeled with your child's first and last name to reduce the amount of lost items.
