16.02.2022 Footy Day 2021 On Friday at Nido Woodend, we had got into the spirit of the AFL grand final and enjoyed celebrations with our educators and children. Many of our children and educators dressed up in their football colours, enjoyed a BBQ lunch as well as a delicious football themed cake made by our wonderful educator Kath. Educators Kath, Tanika and Brooke were superstars and decorated our foyer space for us in preparation for the Grand Final.

01.02.2022 Meet Nicola! Nicola holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and care and has been in the sector for twenty eight years; eight of those years she has been part of the team here at Nido Woodend. You will find Nicola floating throughout the service, as she is one of our support educators. Nicola loves watching the process of development in each child, in particular their early childhood education journey from start to finish.

13.01.2022 Meet Paige! Paige holds her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and has been in the sector for five years and is in her first year at Nido Woodend. The Nursery room is where you will find Paige. Paige is extremely nurturing and loves being their to support the children with their every need. Being a part of the children's learning journeys in their first years is so rewarding for Paige, being able to see them learn and grow.

04.01.2022 Meet Hamza! Hamza holds his Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care and is in his first year at Nido Woodend. Pre-Kinder is where you fill find Hamza, as he is an Early Childhood Teacher. Hamza’s favourite part about working in the Early Childhood Sector is when you get to teach a child something for the first time.
