25.01.2022 Thank you to the beautiful students and teachers from Carmel College in Thornlands, for loving on us this morning. I’m always blown away by our local schools getting involved and creating awareness within their social justice groups. Huge love being sent your way Alix

25.01.2022 Our friends at BAY BREEZE CAFE in Middle Street, Cleveland have been a continuing support for us over 2020 with a total to date of 800 meal vouchers being given to us to hand out to our homeless and people needing a hand in the Redlands. We'd like to say a massive THANK YOU to Jenny and team for the important work they do in donating meals to those who need it and showing their love and care in the process. Please make sure you go and have a coffee and cake or a meal and say Hi.

25.01.2022 Hi friends urgently looking for a tenant for a 3 bedroom upstairs home in Alexandra Hills $285 per week. We have a candidate for the downstairs self contained dwelling and you will both be on the one lease. This is a very great opportunity and we need to act fast or it will be snapped up. Please message us if you know of anyone suitable.

24.01.2022 A big THANK YOU to Leila, Zavier and Zoe for collecting some items from their family and friends to donate to us as part of Zavier's badge work he is doing with the Victoria Point Scout Group. While they were here, they had a look at our awesome van and asked some questions about what Ninjas are all about. Really appreciated receiving these and meeting you, lovely family!

22.01.2022 To everyone who has and is still participating in the buy a meal in advance project..... thank you for working with our sponsor, the beautiful Jenny from the Bay Breeze Cafe Cleveland. This project has made sure our clients are being fed throughout their days as they need/needed it. Vouchers are also given out to our clients at our street feed and homeless outreach too Jenny has also posted up our Christmas hamper list at the shop, so if anyone has a spare item in date on the list and wants to help a family that needs it this year, feel free to say G’day and drop it off Not everyone has a place to lay their head or call home, people are in crisis for so many different reasons and it can easily happen to any of us. I’m truly grateful we have such amazing people out there wanting to make a difference in our small part of the globe lots of love... Alix www.baybreeze.cafe See more

13.01.2022 Hi everyone! Thanks to all for your support over the years, you have helped more than you realise. We thought we'd list out where your donations and dollars go to make it more real for you. Items received from our regular wish lists are put into: Single person food bags... Family hamper bags Survival packs for both male and female, which have the basics one needs that we all take for granted generally Pasta, rice and sauces also are given to our cooks to help with their beautiful single meals they cook. Sleeping bags, tents, small tarps and small throw blankets are given out where needed. We use our monetary donations as carefully as possible and they go towards: Name badges Ninja polo shirts/screen printing Ninja vests/caps Fuel, rego, services and insurance for the van We had to use a reasonable amount for setting up the interior of the van which we were able to purchase after receiving a Government Grant. Our goal at the moment is to have a shower/washing trailer made up so we can offer these services to our homeless and disadvantaged, especially over on our beautiful Islands. Our long term goal is to eventually get a building which we can utilise as a drop in centre for our homeless to come to and do some 'normal' things like sit and have a coffee/tea, watch TV, use a computer, charge their phones etc, have a snack, have a chat and maybe even have a nap on a real bed. We hope to also have case workers/qualified volunteers who can assist them with the help they are needing at the time. Once again, we thank you all as without you, we wouldn't be here!! Please don't hesitate to message, email or ring us if you need any sort of help or information on 0417 668926.
