24.01.2022 Over the last couple of weeks we have spent most of our time cleaning homes with gutter mesh fitted, contrary to popular belief, the gutters still need to be cleaned. Fortunately our clients found us, though it does cost a bit more to clean guarded gutters. I'm happy to say we got all the gutters flowing again and we will call as a reminder to clean these guarded gutters every 6 months.

Sure the enclosed gutters on spanline patios are hard to get your hands into and removing the silt from underneath gutter mesh is difficult, it's not easy work but its what we do. 13.01.2022 After another week of unscrewing gutter mesh, digging out the potting mix under it and refitting the gutter mesh, I thought I would share this maintenance message from a gutter mesh installers website. Please if you have mesh fitted, ensure you clean the leaf litter off the top twice a year and flush under the gutter mesh at least once a year. Maintaining your gutter mesh will save you money in the long run.... If you want us to manage your roof maintenance please message or call.

10.01.2022 Found this during a gutter clean, needless to say a tile slipping down will allow rain to enter your roof space. This house had 5 more tiles in a similar condition. All were repositioned. 06.01.2022 Found the problem, water had been entering the roof space and leaking into the lounge room. Problem had been happening for a while now, others had looked but must have been blind to miss this. Down pipes dont work to well when blocked with leaf litter, this one was plugged. Cleaned leaves, flushed downpipe, placed a simple strainer in the inlet to prevent it blocking up between 4 monthly cleans.
