22.01.2022 Dear Nimbin Central School students, families and staff, As you would have heard this morning, schools will be moving to a staggered and partial return of stude...nts to face-to-face teaching from Week 3 Term 2. This is an exciting development and one that will help us to ensure that every student remains connected with school and their learning in an ongoing way and in the best possible manner. We are working on the model that will best support our Nimbin Central School context and will let you know what this looks like and means for you and your students as soon as possible. In the meantime, schools have been granted an extra Staff Development Day this Term to assist and support the prompt, efficient and meaningful implementation of this process. Students will therefore be returning to the learning model active last term, from Wednesday 29 April. Learning will be available online, on the website, in hard copy or on USB, available from the school, from this date. I will keep you updated with the latest and most accurate information as it becomes available and as before, please do not hesitate to contact us at the school with any inquiries. Your support, as always, is appreciated and makes a positive difference to the learning and wellbeing of our young people. Stay well and safe and enjoy a ell earned break in this glorious Autumn weather.

16.01.2022 At our meeting last week P&C have committed to work on a project to create designs on the toilet doors which are attractive and inspirational. If anyone knows people who might like to participate in such a project then let the school know. Parents are encouraged to register on the Sentral Parent Portal through the schools website for fast communication with the school. P&C will house funding of $500 received through a grant for a student driven project of bush regeneration through the school. P&C is exploring fundraising possibilities in covid times. Next meeting Tuesday September 8th, by Zoom. Watch for details.

13.01.2022 Happy holidays everyone Im busy working on updating our menu AGAIN. Most items will be available again once the new school term starts. (Sorry but there s...till wont be any pies) Sushi and tofu pockets are still OFF the menu for the time being. This may change so watch this space. Most of the canteen made meals will be back but please know that their availability depends on time AND help. If any lovely parents/caregivers out there have a bit of time to spare next term, then please come on down. Even if you can only spare an hour, thats fine. Any help is greatly needed and appreciated especially if it means that the kids get to eat delicious inhouse cooked meals Have a great break See you all again next term xoxo See more

03.01.2022 Again today only 50% of students attended school. Ive been told to expect even less tomorrow onwards. So please note that our menu will be a random pot luck ...one until the end of term. There will not be specific specials on specific days. Small hot food items, drinks and the usual sandwiches will still be available.
