08.01.2022 Wilfredo Guardado Over 3 years ago, my girlfriend and I started cleaning houses through an app called airtasker to make extra money. In less than 6 months we had completed over 100 airtasker jobs and received an average of 4.9 stars. As a kid, I was a bit of an entrepreneur. My mother would sell pupusas to the Salvadorian community and I would make money by selling soft drinks with the pupusas. I would also sell rum balls to her clients. I loved being part of the community an...d making my own money at such a young age. As a teenager, on weekends my Dad would take me to his cleaning jobs. I loved having the extra pocket money and spending time with my Dad. Reflecting back on this, I decided it would be a great idea to combined my cleaning experience and love of business by starting my own cleaning business. It hasn't been easy. I didn't have any funding. The first car constantly broke down on me which often meant I had to cancel jobs and lost clients. But I never gave up. These two images show the progression of my Business in a matter of 3 years. Nine Lives went from having one job a week to jobs almost 7 days a week. From only a Facebook page to an official website with regular leads. We have now Invested in a Very Reliable Car and top of the range equipment such as a really good Vacuum and supplies and Equipment and most recently a Steam Cleaner. Instead of using airtasker to gain clients most of our clients are gained through word of mouth. I want to Thank Everyone who has acquired our services and will continue to and our lovely clients who have been there since the beginning.
