24.01.2022 Congratulations to the Australian Womens National Ice Hockey Team on winning Gold in the 2020 IIHF Worlds in Iceland. The girls had an undefeated tournament, with Sydney Sirens player, Sharna Godfrey scoring an incredible hat trick in the final game, winning 7-1 against New Zealand, and Olivia Last receiving Best Goalie of the tournament.

22.01.2022 This season the player awarded Man of the Match will be wearing a special NSW Rural Fire Service helmet to honour the firies that put everything on the line to keep us safe during the bushfires. Its only fitting that the MVP of the game is in the company of the MVPs of the bushfires and the continuous work the RFS do throughout the year.

At this stage, the priority for the Sydney Bears organisation is the safety and wellbeing of our players, management and Bears Family. The Bears will continue to stay vigilant on the outbreak, heed advice from professional bodies and work closely with the AIHL on... determining the safest outcome.
