25.01.2022 Hi everyone, due to the lock down in Melbourne, the Flemington farmers market on Sunday is pre order only. If you would like to pick up some lamb, please email me at [email protected] with a preferred time to pick up. I will confirm the time you have been given before Sunday. Thankyou and take care Steve

23.01.2022 Looking forward to the Warragul market tomorrow, even with social distancing, hand sanitiser and gloves. Will also have some recently frozen cuts available. Will be coming through Warragul next weekend too, if anyone would like to order a half or whole lamb for delivery. Plenty of lamb available as long as the abattoir and butchers stay open.

20.01.2022 Looking forward to the Warragul farmers market tomorrow...even if it rains. Due to the drought and the increased demand due to the virus, tomorrow's market and next weekends Alphington farmers markets will be the last I can attend as I have run out of lamb. All orders for half and whole lamb, except those already received, have closed. My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. New seasons lamb will be available some time in October. Will let you know when.... Stay safe and see you all in October. Steve

19.01.2022 Hello and happy Easter everyone. Online sales of Certified Biodynamic lamb are going well with the half ($160) and whole ($300) lamb being delivered around Gippsland and Melbourne ($5 delivery fee). To make it more attractive to more households we are offering $70 and $50 lamb boxes with a mix of roast and chops etc The next delivery days are May 1st and 2nd, with orders closing at 12 noon on Sunday 26th of April.... Go to www.ninetymilebd.com.au to order half and whole lamb and email [email protected] to order $50 and $70 mixed lamb boxes and ask any questions you may have. All the best in isolation Steve

18.01.2022 Looking forward to a sunny day at Collingwood Children's farm tomorrow! The grass is growing, lambs are getting heavier, and only six months to Biodynamic status again #ninetymilebeach #biodynamicfarming

13.01.2022 Farm life is not always hard work. #biodynamics #ninetymilebeach #biodynamicfarming #farmlife

10.01.2022 Good morning everyone. Just a heads up to my Williamstown customers that I won't be at Robertsons Reserve this Sunday. Instead I'll be trying out the Flemington market to see what that's like. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope to see you at Flemington. Steve

10.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all! As the dry continues in the east, I'm looking forward to being at the Collingwood Children's farm on Saturday and Flemington farmers market on Sunday and catching up with the many customers I haven't seen for a while. The weather is looking mild for the weekend, which is a relief and hopefully we get some rain this week. Remember if you would like some lamb cuts put aside for when you get to market, send me a text or email before Saturday. Take care Steve

10.01.2022 Hi fellow isolators. Just a note to let you know that I won't be at the Convent market (now transferred to Alphington). This is because my butcher has two employees away ill and was unable to cut up the lamb. As the response to this virus changes almost daily, I can't foresee what might be happening in two weeks time when the Collingwood Children's farm is scheduled. If the markets are shut, but the abattoir and butchers are going, I will be able to organise delivery of half ...and whole lamb orders on a first in basis. I'll be letting you know what's happening closer to the second weekend in April (Easter) Till then, all the best to you all. Steve See more

09.01.2022 Looking forward to the Collingwood Children's farmers market tomorrow and seeing customers again after two months off. I've lots of warming cuts to grill,BBQ or slow cook. Who knows what will happen re the markets in the near future, but am hoping they will go ahead. May be a good time to order a half or whole lamb!? See you tomorrow, rain, hail or shine.....

09.01.2022 New seasons lambs will be at Warragul this Saturday. Good rain has fallen, the grass is growing and there is plenty of feed for now. Crop is also doing well. Look forward to seeing you at Warragul farmers market if you can make it.

08.01.2022 Hello everyone, I hope your all going ok and getting to markets. I'll be at Carlton North Primary school on Saturday and Flemington farmers market on Sunday with my new seasons lamb. All the usual cuts are on offer. I look forward to seeing all the market crew and customers this weekend. Take care Steve

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, hope you are still healthy. As this virus looks like being around for a while, I have decided to offer half and whole lamb for either home delivery or to a market near you, for the month of April. I won't be at the farmers markets this month, but will have lambs available each weekend for order. This will hopefully lessen the risk to my customers and myself. If I catch the virus there is no back up on the farm. If you are interested, please go to my website www.n...inetymilebd.com.au where you can order half or whole lamb and choose the cuts you like for the shoulder and leg. If demand is there, I can also offer $50 boxes of a mix of chops and a roast if this is more affordable. I would like to thank the management of the Melbourne farmers markets for all their hard work in keeping them open for the community in these trying times. All the best to you all Steve PS No beef is available at this time.

08.01.2022 Thank fully the heat will finish tonight and Warragul market will be a lot more pleasant. I would like to thank my customers for supporting me throughout this drought year, as without you I may not still be farming. Thank you! I will be at Warragul tomorrow and Alphington on Sunday with all the regular cuts and roasts for Christmas or the BBQ. Be quick as have some prior orders for the popular cuts. I wish you all a happy time with family and friends and look forward to seein...g you next March. Yes next March, as due to the drought I don't have enough lamb to go the whole year, so am taking January and February off. Take care Steve See more

03.01.2022 Hi everyone, hope you're well and getting to enjoy some of the sun lately. I'm back at all my markets now and I'll be at the Alphington farmers market tomorrow (which is the relocated Children's farm market) and Flemington farmers market on Sunday. Will also be doing home deliveries this Saturday afternoon for those who ordered and prefer non contact deliveries. The next home delivery day will be Saturday June 27th, with the cut off for orders being Sunday June 21st, so get y...our order in by going to www.ninetymilebd.com.au Have a good weekend and hope to catch up soon. Steve

02.01.2022 Really looking forward to markets again, starting at Flemington this Sunday and regular markets after that. Have had a great Spring and good rain in January and February, so the sheep and lambs are doing very well. Hope to see you at the markets this month. Steve
