17.01.2022 The kids at Exmouth District High School made these wonderful floats for the 50th celebrations (they had a little help)

17.01.2022 One more of the 21 beautiful loggerheads we were very lucky to support the release of. It was a special day we will never forget! The juvenile turtles drifted... onto Australias south-west shores during storms over the past 18 months after travelling southwards in the Leeuwin current. These young turtles normally wouldnt come ashore for several decades until they are ready to breed, and now they have been returned to sea to hopefully become mature breeding adults! Thanks to the incredible care given by AQWA The Aquarium of Western Australia, Dolphin Discovery Centre, Parks and Wildlife, Western Australia and Perth Zoo.

14.01.2022 This week we had the pleasure of hosting 20 clients who are circumnavigating Australia on their private jet. Proud to show off our little part of Australia, Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area.

12.01.2022 Please read this post written by Brett Lefroy lived his young life on his families (Exmouth) station. Maybe now people will think twice about supporting the Ken...drick fight. Can I also ask that you share this post to your family and friends, the more people who know the true story the better. There are so many holes in this entire story, so as a proud member of the Lefroy family who was raised on Exmouth Gulf Station I would like to fill a few of these holes in for you all. The Ningaloo station lease was acquired by the Lefroy family in 1934 from the state government for the primary purpose of managing and grazing livestock. This was successfully carried out for several generations by the family. Due to the decline in the wool and sheep industry the family decided to generate a small income from charging people to camp along this beautiful stretch of coastline, Remembering at this point the primary purpose of a pastoral lease is to manage and graze livestock. Phil Kendrick, as a camper has then offered to help collect money from the camps and this is how his journey at Ningaloo started some 15-20 years ago. This individual has continued to manipulate and pray upon two elderly woman and wormed his way into managing role. He in no form whatsoever supports the Lefroy family or the pastoral leases of Exmouth and Ningaloo. This is blatantly obvious by observing the current condition of the livestock, pasture and infrastructure on Ningaloo that has fallen into a horrible state of disrepair since Phills inception. He has caused much anger and hurt in the family during this time. He has absolutely no idea or the experience required to successfully manage and run a pastoral property. Now Ningaloo almost solely derives its income from cash based camping fees, not from livestock as it is intended. Very little of this money is returned into the business. I would like to add that I have no issue with pastoral propertys diversifying into tourism, and I know several propertys that do this to support there livestock business. However in the case of Ningaloo this has not been done. Sadly there is now only one elderly membecr of my family left at Ningaloo surviving under Phills dictatorship . It is now all about one mans greed, not a family run pastoral lease. Over the negotiation period of lease renewal Ningaloo was offered several attractive offers, including a freehold title over the homestead and surrounding area, all of these offers where declined. Another interesting fact is that DEPAW already own half of the lease as it stands now. Ningaloo is no longer a viable pastoral lease and now needs to be managed correctly to preserve this natural beauty for future generation to enjoy, and I can assure you Phil Kendrick is not the person to do this. So I ask may everybody consider this when deciding to support cause. Thanks, Brett Lefroy.

10.01.2022 Ningaloo Safari Tours have been operating in the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area for over 40 years!! Below is a write up of the previous owners Neil and Coralie McLeod and the establishment of the business.

09.01.2022 To all of our valued guests, suppliers and future clients, Due to the COVID-19 situation, Ningaloo Safari Tours have suspended all tour operations, we will keep reassessing the situation as it develops and will reopen when it has been deemed safe by the governing bodies. Ningaloo Safari tours have stood the test of time and have been showing our clients the beautiful Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area for over 25 years and we will continue on with our tours once this is all ...over. We take pride in the positive feedback we constantly receive for the passion for the area in which we live and work. Which is why, at this time, we must ask you to stay away. We ask that you dont cancel your trip to Ningaloo, only postpone until the time is right for you and our small community. Our small remote town is not only ill-equipped to handle the spread of COVID-19 if the virus presents, but is absolutely incapable of supporting any more people than our local population. As you can appreciate it is a very hard time for us and the logistics required to handle the changes to bookings are extremely challenging. We have been working with our guests and suppliers to move bookings, provide refunds and gift vouchers as have been requested. We ask that you are patient with us as we work to achieve positive outcomes for all. Stay safe, enjoy your time at home with your loved ones and we look forward to seeing you in Ningaloo when the time is right. The difference between stumbling blocks and stepping stones is how we use them. Kind regards Dave and Teresa Mongan Directors Ningaloo Safari Tours
