10.01.2022 Just a bit of fun

10.01.2022 getting the last few things ready for our first classes in the morning. Its been quite a journey. I started my karate training when I was about 17 and have been involved on the martial arts since then. Im trained in some really interesting old Okinawan styles and had the good fortune to travel and train in Okinawa. I have also lived in Japan and taught in the USA as well as in the several schools we have run in Australia. We are very excited to be in Peregian Beach and looki...ng forward to bringing our brand of karate to the coast. Not sure if what we do is for you? Easy to answer, just come and try a class. One class is all it takes for most people to decided if this is for them or not. All the best and I look forward to seeing you in my new Peregian Beach Dojo. Sensei.

10.01.2022 Getting ready for the new term to start!

07.01.2022 While Im on the computer I was trying to find a way to put my prices up. Im sure Ill work out how to do it on Facebook, but here they are for now. Pricing - The best thing to do is to come and try a class and see if you like it. We have just moved to the Sunshine Coast so this class is brand new so its a good time to start. Ninja Fun classes are $15 a class and $18 a class for the longer karate lessons for older kids and adults. Term fees generally paid at the beginning of ...term. We love having families join us so we have a 50% sibling discount. There is a $90 membership fee which includes their uniform and insurance. Fees are only payable once you decide to join us. Gradings are by invitation only and happen at the end of each term. We are really looking forward to starting on the 14th of Feb. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the first class and for subsequent classes we will have an informal coffee/cake self serve - affectionately dubbed 'Ninjas' by my kids, so the grown ups can have a coffee or tea and piece of cake while they wait for their little Ninjas. If you have any further questions please let me know. Any questions can be asked here on the FB page or you can call me at 0433 150 942 Alex.

06.01.2022 If you are interested in trying the Ninja Fun classes or our karate classes for older kids and adults - the best way to start is to come and give it a go. Your first class will always be free. Its really important to know that we are a good fit, both as a teacher and as a class. So nothing to lose, just come and give it a go!

06.01.2022 What kind of Sensei am I? I was speaking to a parent yesterday and she had mentioned that her young kids had tried martial arts before and that they had been put off by a teacher who yelled at them a lot in class. I have been teaching martial arts for 20 years and Ive heard this a lot over the years. So it prompted me to think about what kind of teacher I am, so here it goes... ... I'm friendly, but Im firm. Im generous, but Im strict. Im in charge, but I don't yell. I am passionate and I love to share. I believe in the values of respect, for ourselves and each other. I hold strong the values of loyalty, discipline and balance. I do not tolerate bullies nor do I bully my students. I believe in the benefit of self defence, self discipline, self development and most of all, I believe that you can have all that AND have fun. Have a great weekend!

05.01.2022 Free kids karate trial class. Come and try karate for kids 5-12. Please register your child's place at dralexperry.com/ninjafun
