23.01.2022 Welcome to Friday, the 5th day of Womens Health Week 2020, where we'll be exploring the link between your financial health and your physical and mental health. People often think of financial wellbeing and general health as two separate things. But there is actually an undeniable link between the two. Money worries can cause stress and anxiety, which may in turn create other health issues such as insomnia and increased blood pressure. At some point in our lives we will all ...deal with financial strains. However, for a growing number of women, concerns about their financial health is fuelling a surge in their stress levels. Come along to our Money Matters Talks at the Arts Hub this week to learn more about finances and how you can use your knowledge to empower your health. Monday 14th September 9am or Wednesday 16th September 7pm at the Arts Hub - contact [email protected] to book a spot. See below a budget-friendly recipe for you to try - enjoy! https://www.jeanhailes.org.au//brodo-di-pollo-chicken-soup See more

The group, which was made up of Yolngu and Balanda, fused Western rock music with traditional Aboriginal instrumentation. Click below and have a read of Mandawuy Yunupingu's story.

Gender-based violence has social, economic, health and welfare costs on children, young people, individuals, families and communities. The Western Australian government is developing a 10 Year Strategy to Reduce Family and Domestic Violence in our state. To drive gender equality and to create a better, fairer and more equitable community, the Western Australian government is also developing a Women’s Plan. #16DaysInWA
