Remember that being at a healthy weight is about a healthy lifestyle, not just a diet and exercise plan that you can maintain Monday through Friday Revisit your goals and recommit to making healthy and realistic choices every day that set you up for success in the long term EAT The Same Eat like its a weekday. When you think about it, it doesnt really make much sense to eat differently on the weekend than you do during the week. Especially if your food choices during the week keep you fueled and energized. It can be easy to skip meals on the weekend and then make up for it later by overindulging at dinner. So, make a point to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, dont skip meals. Pack snacks for when youre on the go, and follow a schedule just like you would during the week. PLAN next Weeks Meals What better way to stay healthy on the weekend than by using your extra time to continue to set yourself up for success? Take Sunday afternoon or evening to plan your meals, hit the grocery store, and do some bulk cooking for the week ahead. 13.01.2022 Cauliflower,Chickpea and Coconut Curry 1 tablespoon chickpea flour (besan) * 3 teaspoons ground coriander... * 2 teaspoons garam masala * 1 teaspoon ground turmeric * 375ml (1 1/2 cups) water * 1 tablespoon coconut oil * 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seeds * 1 teaspoon brown mustard seeds * 25 fresh curry leaves * 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced * 1 long fresh red chilli, thinly sliced * 1 large brown onion, halved, thinly sliced * 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets * 270ml can light coconut milk * 400g can chickpeas, rinsed, drained * 120g baby spinach * 2 tablespoons lemon juice METHOD * Step 1 Combine the flour, coriander, garam masala and turmeric in a small bowl. Slowly stir in 12 cup of the water until a smooth mixture forms. * Step 2 Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium-low heat. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Stir in curry leaves for 30 seconds. Stir in garlic and chilli for 2 minutes or until golden. Transfer half the mixture to a small bowl and reserve. Add onion to the pan. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until soft. * Step 3 Add spice mixture and remaining water to the pan. Bring to the boil. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the cauliflower. Season well. Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Stir in coconut milk. Cook, covered, for 5 minutes or until cauliflower is almost tender. Stir in chickpeas. Cook, covered, for 3 minutes or until warmed through. Stir in spinach for 2 minutes or until just wilted. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice and sprinkle with reserved curry leaf mixture.

Today Im so proud to say that he passed . Congratulations Jake you have made my day and Im sorry that the entire park heard me screaming at you but it got you over the line . 06.01.2022 Meet Jess and Kiara !! These 2 gorgeous girls came to me as they wanted to put on muscle /size gain strength and improve their overall fitness. At only 21 years old they have both been on the receiving end of hurtful comments about their body size . It’s never ok to say hurtful things about someone’s body or size ever !... We have been working hard together since June and both girls have increased their strength tenfold , size and their confidence is growing along with their muscles I’m extremely proud of you both and love being a part of your journey. To me that’s what being a Trainer is all about making someone feel good in their own skin . 30 push ups on your toes is impressive ladies and you both work so friggen hard . 06.01.2022 Raw Pad Thai Salad with Grilled Prawns Salad * 1/2 red capsicum sliced * 1 cup snow peas sliced... * 1 carrot spiralised * 1 zucchini spiralised * 2 spring onions sliced * 1/4 bunch coriander chopped * 1 cup bean shoots * 1/2 red chilli finely sliced Sesame Prawns * 250 grams raw tiger prawns * 2 tsp olive oil * 1 tsp sesame seeds * 1/4 red chilli finely sliced Dressing * 1 tbsp natural peanut butter * 1/2 tbsp avocado oil * 1 tsp apple cider vinegar * 1/2 tsp garlic minced * 1/4 tsp ginger minced INSTRUCTIONS 1. Prepare all salad ingredients and mix well in bowl. 2. In a small dish mix together all of thedressing ingredients, set aside until ready to serve. 3. In a separate bowl place prawns and add sesame oil, chilli and sesame seeds, mix well. 4. Heat non-stick fry pan to medium heat, add prawns to pan and grill until cooked through. 5. Add dressing to salad mix, gently stir through. 6. Serve salad in bowls and top with grilled prawns.

05.01.2022 FITNESS TIPS FRIDAY..... Do you add stretching into your exercise routine ??? If not you really should ...... Why stretching is important Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage. For example, sitting in a chair all day results in tight hamstrings in the back of the thigh. That can make it harder to extend your leg or straighten your knee all the way, which inhibits walking. Likewise, when tight muscles are suddenly called on for a strenuous activity that stretches them, such as playing tennis, they may become damaged from suddenly being stretched. Injured muscles may not be strong enough to support the joints, which can lead to joint injury. The cumulative effect of stretching Stretching once today won't magically give you perfect flexibility. You'll need to do it over time and remain committed to the process. "It may have taken you many months to get tight muscles, so you're not going to be perfectly flexible after one or two sessions It takes weeks to months to get flexible, and you'll have to continue working on it to maintain it. 5 minutes a day will make a world of difference to your body . 02.01.2022 Cauliflower Fritters absolutely love them 1 cauliflower large or 6 cups of diced cauliflower 2/3 cup almond flour blanched 1/2 cup parsley chopped 3 eggs... 1 1/4 teaspoon sea salt Black pepper to taste Instructions Rice cauliflower in food processor until coarsely chopped slightly larger than typical cauliflower rice Add the cauliflower, almond flower . Parsley , egg , salt and pepper to a bowl mix well Add 1/2 teaspoon of avocado oil to pan over medium heat . Add 2 large mounds of cauliflower mixture. Cover the pan to allow the fritters to solidify so they are easier to flip . Brown for 5/7 minutes before flipping Makes 8 fritters Approximately 95 calories a serve Can add proteins or extra vegetables to mixture if desired. Perfect served with an egg on top
