16.01.2022 It’s back, bigger and better than before! The Golden Tag fishing competition is back with expanded areas, additional species and most importantly more chanc...es to win! More than 20 new tagged fish worth $10,000 each are in the water across country Victoria ready to be caught. Minister for Fishing and Boating Melissa Horne MP was in Loch Sport today to announce the restart of the Golden Tag competition and release four bream worth $2,000! The revamped comp will be expanded across all corners of the state, with more species to chase too. From trout in the high country to Aussie bass in East Gippsland, yellas and cod in Lake Eildon, bluefin tuna off the west coast and plenty more! Plus there’s more than 950 $2,000 tagged fish still swimming around in the state’s east and north-east, giving you plenty of chances to land a very valuable catch.
