25.01.2022 Anyone saying Australia is going to have a gas led recovery is ignoring the facts. Australia’s fossil fuel sector employs a fraction of the people that many th...ink and contributes a fraction of the income people think. It’s role in the economy is boosted by lobbyists and politicians those lobbyists have lobbied. We’re all being sold a pup. 19.01.2022 CWA statement re Narrabri Gas Project.

18.01.2022 RIG UPDATE 171120: Before we were locked out of the Pilliga Forest under the guise of Public Health & Safety we were able to get these images of the drill rig... and its supporting equipment. We believe this rig is capable of drilling new wells and Santox have not declared that they will not attempt to drill. Santos do have existing approval to drill Dewhurst 30 & 31 and have it stated on their website their intention to drill. https://narrabrigasproject.com.au//dewhurst-gas-explorati/ Therefore we do advise community that we are on ORANGE ALERT. The coal seam gas industry is inherently bad for "Public Health & Safety so the reasoning behind the lockout is ironic and unprecedented. Never before has a lockout occurred so the company can conduct maintenance. Santos do not want scrutiny of their dirty business by community watchers. The company know full well they have no social licence and this is the only way they can operate. Shame on you Santos for your lack of transparency, if gas is so great you wouldn't need to do this.

11.01.2022 ZOMBIE ATTACK: They sat on the expired licenses for years and did nothing with them, now gas companies are coming out of the woodwork to raise the dead and re...surrect expired zombie-PELs in the wake of Narrabri gas approval. Farmers in the North West NSW say their their worst fears are being realised and that the expired licences should have been cancelled long ago.
