24.01.2022 Back in the day... Original buildings and fishing in the bay (c. 1935); founding fisherman Vincent Rosetti on his cart (c.1940); enjoying their hand-built Rockpool (c. 1949); and the original jetty, used for loading cedar and other produce to be transported to Sydney, in disrepair (c. 1960) . . .... 20.01.2022 Some insight from the artist who completed our mural

15.01.2022 Norah Head Boating and Recovery Club's Vice Commodore John Hinks approached and commissioned This Is My Happy Place MURALS to complete a custom mural on the Club House in September, 2020. A great update and transformation, raising our profile in the community.

13.01.2022 Norah Head Boating and Recovery Club would also like to acknowledge the support of Allcott Hire at Kanwal. A difficult site to access, Tony and his team's generosity were greatly appreciated in making this huge project a success. . . Photo Cred This Is My Happy Place

13.01.2022 Beautiful day at Norah Head Boating and Recovering Club

12.01.2022 A little snapshot of what's beneath the surface...

10.01.2022 It really doesn't get much better than this.

05.01.2022 Aerial view of the Club and it's grounds, situated between the Bald Street Council Boat Ramp and carpark, and Mazlin Reserve, Norah Head (2018)

04.01.2022 Thank you to the members that have paid their fees early for 2021. Please note the correct renewal amount is $110 For some unknown reason some are paying $135.

03.01.2022 You would have seen John Hinks when down at our club. At our recent AGM we awarded John with life membership for his 3 yrs tenure as our Commodore, and for the hundreds of volunteer hours he puts in improving and maintaining the buildings and surrounds. Thanks John.

02.01.2022 Looking for some feedback on establishing a regular day and meeting time for members and their guests to gather for a friendly chat and coffee at our club premises.

02.01.2022 A nice write up about the Club and our new mural in the Coast Community News Chronicle. A reporter interviewed Vice Commodore John Hinks and Ange from This Is My Happy Place about the work, which is featured in their Out & About section. A great way to raise the profile of our Club. We're looking forward to Stage II of the design, which has been so well received.

01.01.2022 Local Dive Master and Club Member Wayne Macquarie, taking a Dive Newcastle group out in the bay this morning in pristine conditions. Wayne has been a dive instructor for many years, educating divers throughout the Central Coast and beyond. Many who dive out of our Club have been past students. It's great to see this group also learning from the best. If you've ever considered learning to dive we couldn't recommend anyone more highly, and it's a wonderful experience and recreational sport to take up considering where we live!
