23.01.2022 Dear all It is with great regret that the Harmony Day Festival scheduled for Sat 21 March at Baringa Community Centre, Caloundra West has to be cancelled due to concerns over the spread and containment of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The Harmony Day Festival team is acting proactively in light of the changing situation regarding mass gatherings of people in Australia and is responding to advice from Australia’s Chief Medical Officer;... Chief medical officer, Brendan Murphy has recommended a ban on events with more than 500 people https://www.abc.net.au//coronavirus-scott-morris/12053382 The Harmony Day Festival Committee will reconvene to discuss options for rescheduling the event at a later date if possible.

15.01.2022 After careful consideration and subsequent advise from Government health organisations, we have elected to be socially responsible amidst the COVID-19 outbreak,... and as a result we have decided to postpone the Traditional Trade Fair at Old Petrie Town on Sunday 22nd March 2020. Whilst a huge amount of time, effort and planning has gone into this Event, we feel that it is in the best interests for the safety of our participants, visitors and customers. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
