24.01.2022 Hurricanes take to the turf!! Momentous day on Wednesday at Norm hosting the Brisbane Heat and the Hobart Hurricanes WBBL teams. Once the weather cleared we even somehow managed to get our turf pitches officially used for the first time by none other than the Hurricanes. 17.01.2022 Talk about a family reunion! Our facility is named after one of the greatest local cricketers, Norm O'Neill, who went on to become a great Australian cricketer. His son, Mark O'Neill, was very good as well and played for NSW before becoming one of the most respected coaches around. So we were over the moon to have Mark coach here with the Western Suburbs District Cricket Club 1st Grade players in the Pre-Season. 09.01.2022 Great Job Jakob! In his first foray into Senior Cricket, our man Jakob had some very impressive outcomes. Playing For Georges River DCC in the Shires Comp he came away with the Rookie Of The Year as well as the 4th Grade Players Players and Bowling Award (25 wickets @14). So pleased for this guy. He's a champion young man! #CricketAtNorm
