24.01.2022 Latest job completed 10 yr old masters Force Field racing mal. New rails, tail, nose and series of other holes fixed up, + some new straps & knee pads. Total weight 7.73kg and some very happy senior senior paddlers.

24.01.2022 Fresh arrival to NASS today. We are very excited to be handling the new Carbon Fibre INFRONT nipper racing boards range. Watch out tomorrow for the first look at the Soft nipper Board range.

23.01.2022 DD3 Skyfall arrived at NASS with the challenge of getting cut down to suit a wider range of paddlers that train at the Mindil Beach SLSC. Originally made to suit a 6’8 paddler. We cut out 75mm center section, foot well Box Venturi system, stringer and steering cable carriers. Got to say we are pretty happy with the final results.

22.01.2022 Yes they have Bos surf skis in NT. This 1 had a little incident that damaged/Split in the tape edge join on the nose. Glasses over and color matched flow coat applied. Good as new.

19.01.2022 First shipment of Fenn skis to the NT have arrived. Pictured is the fully adjustable Fenn LS Single Ski. This is the Deep seat version. Designed for the elite spec paddler. Ready for test paddle.

19.01.2022 Latest job out the Gate Francois had a sore and sorry Carbonology Adjustable paddle with hair line fractures on both side of left blade and full cracks through the right blade. Enjoy the pics.

18.01.2022 What a transformation, well at least we think so. This ex Matt Poole Gibbons GRX was delivered a bit damaged with several holes in the hull, deck splits in the tape edges, leaks in the footwell Venturi’s and a shattered foam stringer. This ski had an extended stay and lost several kg’s in excess moisture before heading home to its owner.

18.01.2022 Ski no. 3 our of recent consignment to Darwin. The Mako XT, designed for those that want the sensation of going fast but may not have the balance skills. The XT has a lower centre of gravity but still maneuverable and quick.

17.01.2022 Did you know we also do custom jobs? 1 x Set of Surf boat oar holders, made to measure for Mindil Beach SLSC DKG surf boat. Glassed and flow coated then Marine Carpet finished.

15.01.2022 Even big water toys get bruised and bashed! This SLSNT RWC was the victim of trailer & swell coming together. Anyway all fixed and color matched to boot. Now ready for service again.

15.01.2022 In an effort not to be seen as only an entire variety of fixing water craft. Here is the latest job started & finished just prior to the Xmas break. Team 5 Seven racing are in the process of converting an Isuzu truck( Furniture) into a Double Sprint car transporter. In an effort to make everything perfect, the aero bulb that sits atop the casing had some old damage from impact that put stress fractures through the majority of the top left corner. Weather/ water damage was evident so after some time with the Grinder and sander it was ready to be glassed inside and out. All that’s left to do now is be completely resprayed in a Gloss Alpine White 2 Pack finish.

15.01.2022 Enjoy the Katherine Ultra challenge? This old Spectrum surf has 10x. Hence had some very soft spots and cracks along its water line. As you can see by pics it has been given the treatment and now is completely water tight once again!

15.01.2022 Not just water craft that get looked after at NASS this race Car needed some fiberglass work done and we were only to happy to oblige. Must say we are pretty impressed with final as was the owner Matty Grant.

13.01.2022 We are very pleased to have been approached by the Mindil Beach SLSC to assist in the running of its 2019 surf sports program. If interested in getting into paddling or surf sports definitely get in contact with this surf club.

12.01.2022 Between recovery from knee op and bad tooth experience we have been a little busy between healing and appointments. 1 x OC1 needed a little attention and new steering. Pretty happy with the final result.

Yes we do composites Adam had an all carbon OC1 that had been in the war’s and was sitting in the container gathering dust when he asked NASS to have a look and see if it was repairable? We safe to say we thought it was and can proudly boast this OC is back in the water! Straightened rudder and all.

10.01.2022 Composites, yes paddles, pictured is a Performance Paddle that needed some attention, pleased to say the paddle no longer leaks and aside from slight variation in the pattern of the Carbon fibre the repair isn’t very noticeable. Also pictured is a Brasca IV paddle that was suffering from sun bleaching and flaking. This paddle was sanded back and given 2 coats of High grade Automotive 2pack clear coat to rejuvenate its appearance.

09.01.2022 Latest 2 jobs out the door. 2 x Wahoo OC1’s both seen some better days when they arrived but have a new lease on life and a 50k stroke warranty. Enjoy some before, during & after/ finished pics to see how big the journey was to get these OC’s race ready again.

08.01.2022 Couple of paddles from the Mindil club came in needing a little refurbishment. Must say that each different paddle has been done to best reflect the manufacturer’s original style for that blade. 1/ Meek / Bennett paddle 2/ Epic series 2 ... 3/ Performance Paddle All look flash and fast and ready for new young paddlers to learn their trades.

07.01.2022 It’s not just Boards and Skis that need the NASS touch from time to time. This DKG surf boat was showing the results of rollers not working as they should and missing it by that much in term of loading it on the trailer getting it straight.

07.01.2022 Must be the start of the Northern Surf season, 1 of the forgotten but essential pieces of Surf craft at every club is the Double ski, and this 2012 build Charger definitely been used by all but not taken great care of is in for some much needed TLC and new cables. Watch this space.

06.01.2022 From old and Not useable. To repaired, reconditioned back to as good as the day it left the original factory including still being on weight 18.3kg is a very good effort. Even more rewarding is seeing this ski is already been used in 4 ski sessions since being returned to the club 7 days ago. Goes to show some good shapes & versatile skis don’t have to be retired when they are still very popular but suffering from damage.

05.01.2022 Ready for the 2018 Beach n Paddle series up here in the NT? The SLSNT hosted event will be run over 5 rounds. The first round this weekend is 17km Lee Point to Ski club. New rules this season require all long course paddlers to have a high vis, Life jacket, and Leg leash required. These new requirements bring NT paddlers in line with all other ocean racing organizations world wide. ... So if racing this year you need gear get in contact with NASS to get yours. See more

05.01.2022 2nd ski in the Fenn spec ski family and here in Darwin is the Tarpon S. More stable and designed for the masters with great stability. Fully adjustable and ready to go now.

04.01.2022 SLSNT came to NASS some months ago enquiring if old rescue/ Lifegaurd mals could be given a spruce up?? Answer is they sure can. Both boards were 2 Pk sprayed after being fully rubbed back after being repaired where needed. Pretty happy with the results.

03.01.2022 Sprint cars? Yes sprint car panels, Wingless, formula 500’s. We have been approached by team 5 seven racing to repair some wingless panels. Pictured are 5 of the 13 damaged parts and panels, Some carbon fiber some normal fiberglass. Customers were very pleased with the end results, and all panels being able to be repaired even those that were close to being binned. Also did some go kart seats.

03.01.2022 Ski no. 4 of our of recent consignment to Darwin. The Swordfish S, this ocean ocean racing ski designed for those that want to go fast but but more forgiving then the big brother of the Fenn fleet The Elite & Elite S, fast yet forgiving and the perfect starter ski for those wanting to start an ocean racing or ability to pump out the km and go fast.

03.01.2022 Tape Edge? Yes this Fenn LS needed 1 and got 1 and some other hull repairs Pretty happy with results.

02.01.2022 Slipstream Vortex Single Ski. Before, During & after pics. Delaminated soft spot through the hull, taking on water. As you can see it had a previous carbon patch put on. Ski has been made rock solid through hull and strong as new.

02.01.2022 Another SLSNT job for us at NASS. This time decommissioning a SLSNT RWC ( Jet Ski) and some much need repairs to the body before going on to a new home away from lifesaving.
