25.01.2022 A fantastic week for the Mystics as we triumphed over a gallant Lalor FC in the Clubs Cup, coming out on top 8-6, while also getting the win in League Two on Sunday against Melbourne Uni FC to extend our unbeaten run to 8 straight league matches! 22.01.2022 State League One | Round 21 | North Melbourne 2-1 CYSM Vermont Futsal Club We book ourselves a promotion play-off match after overcoming a determined Vermont F.C. ... A tense match all round as Vermont where chasing the win and top spot for automatic promotion whilst your Mystics needed to win to book a play-off spot. A 2nd half goal to Vermont saw the Mystics ramp the pressure and look for the equaliser, it wouldn't be until 6 minutes left that aspiring youth player Benjamin Collins found the back of the net. with the match locked at 1-1 the Mystics denied Vermont a league One title with only 30 seconds remaining as Benjamin Collins found himself down the line and hitting top bins to send the mystics in a frenzy. 13.01.2022 State League One, Round 16, 2019/20 North Melbourne Futsal Club 5-1 FC Footscray (Futsal Club) CED Electrics Goal Scorers: John Nikolakoudis 2, Patrizio Alessandro Marra, Leo Kfeilati & Chris Dimitropoulos... We took on Footscray in what was a vital clash at the top of the table.With an injury to resident goal keeper Nick Tzoutzidis it gave a chance to our backup goal keeper Jordan Haddaway Constan to showcase his magical abilities between the sticks. The Mystics were on fire early on and made good on their dominant start as they got out to a 4-0 lead at the half as John Nikolakoudis bagged a brace, supported by singles to Leo Kfeilati & Patrick Marra to leave Footscray with work to do. Footscray stemmed the goal flow of North Melbourne but were denied time and time again by Mystics stopper Jordan Constan, before a Chris Dimitropoulos strike all but sealed the result for the Mystics. We welcomed back captain Jonny Crocaris to the squad who had a huge role to play in our vital win. A slow first half saw us trailing by one goal only for the Mystics to fire up in the second half. The Mystics where very unlucky not to convert countless chances throughout the game. New Boy Jaime Wilson showed what he was all about with a ...calm finish from the side court followed by a brilliant one on one goal from Patrizio Alessandro Marra to give the Mystics a comfortable lead.
