Anyone considering a true 2-seater sports car with foldaway hardtop should certainly have a look at this one. For the unfamiliar to these cute little SLK's, one test drive will demonstrate just how "fun" they are to drive. This one features sports suspension too &... with 3 position memory electric seats & air scarf options to add to the host of other standard creature comforts included on this model, the enjoyment level of driving it is very high. Whilst its 1.8 litre supercharged intercooled 4-cylinder engine gives remarkable performance when asked, (0-100km/h in mid 7's), it is also very kind on the pocket when driven more modestly, 8.2 l/100 km for combined driving conditions. It is the quintessential young couples (or singles) car too with more than ample space in the luggage compartment when the roof is folded away, which takes less than 20 secs. The speed sensitive power steering makes it a breeze to handle in car parks too, even for the slighter female. Whilst this car was classified as a "Repairable Write Off" by the insurers, the damage was typically very minor. It had the right hand rear wheel arch & adjacent bumper area slightly damaged & tail light cracked. the pic shows the extent. It has been professionally repaired & a new (correct) tail light will be fitted on arrival. It is for genuine sale at the absolute bargain price of $14490 + on road costs.
