21.01.2022 Great fun morning today with North West Tennis Academy and Tamworth Public School for the ANZ Racquet Roadshow! 122 kindergarten kids all received a brand new ANZ hot shots racquet!! The students were given the opportunity to explore and familiarise themselves with the racquet and engage fundamental movement skills aligned with the curriculum with the fantastic coaches of North West Tennis Academy and then take their new racquets home

18.01.2022 A reminder that registration for the NSW Super Series UTR event at NARRABRI on 13/9/20 closes tomorrow (10/9/20) at 11:30pm! If you haven’t already registered for this event we suggest you get it in quick! Moving forward into 2021 we envision that there will more than likely be a number of UTR based TNSW events on offer, and we recommend that if players are eligible to participate in events like this that they do so in preparation for the year to come.... 05.01.2022 North West Head Series 10-11th October - Narrabri Head Series 17-18th October - Moree Head Series 7-8th November Far Northern Champions Head Series @Glen Innes ... Entry fee is $40 which includes one singles and one doubles event. There will be trophies for our age group winners and R/Ups. And money for our divisional winners and R/Ups. There will be a progressive points race for the 10 and 12 under events. The overall winners will be presented with a Head Package at the end of the series. 10/Under & 12/Under event Singles and doubles round robin over 2 days. Doubles is inclusive with singles fee. Doubles is an essential part of the tennis game and the North West Committee believe that this is a great opportunity for our players to develop the skills and experience the game in a fun and enjoyable environment. Play will commence at 8:30am both Saturday & Sunday we ask that players arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in, pool & court allocation. Singles to be played on Saturday Doubles to be played on Sunday... A reminder that you will need to make payment for your events upon check-in your entry fee ($40) needs to be ready to handover in a marked envelope. This event will be held on Sunday the 13th of September - https://app.myutr.com/events/28088 Registration for this event closes next Thursday 10th September at 11:30pm get in quick so that you don’t miss out! Late entries will not be accepted.... ----------------------------------------------- As per the update provided to all NW Tennis UTR online club members, all results from the 10/U event will not be recorded or applied to the players UTR this is purely a match play opportunity for the kids, and as such the registration fee for this division is $20. Should your 10/U child/player be at a higher level of play and would like to have these matches go towards their current UTR please discuss the possibility of them participating in the yellow-ball 14/U division with their coach prior to registering. For your information the fee for the 14/U & Opens divisions remains at $25. ----------------------------------------------- *Per the COVID-19 recommendations that are in place until the 30th of September this event is only open to North West players. **Please note in line with the guidelines, players are ineligible to enter should they require an overnight stay to attend this event.

01.01.2022 The #NSWSuperSeries has been extended and therefore Narrabri Dietrict Tennis Club will be running another event on Sunday the 13/9/20!! Registration is now open so get your entries in quick! https://app.myutr.com/events/28088 ... **Please note due to the COVID-19 guidelines at this stage this event is only open to players from the North West. ----------------------------------------------------------- An update to the Super Series - Unfortunately, Tennis NSW has been advised by UTR that Green ball results will no longer count toward a players UTR. Results that have been played in the 10/U age group are currently being removed and no further results will be added if they have been played in 10/U green ball events. UTR is currently working on an algorithm for a coloured ball rating which will include all results from any events that have already been played. A time-frame on when this is to be completed has not yet been provided but we will keep you up to date with any developments in this space. As such the registration for the 10/U division for this event has been slightly reduced.
