22.01.2022 This is the article I mentioned earlier. Its bigger than I had intended; sometimes its harder to say less when there is so much to say - I'll try to keep it brief next time. A word from the Rural Chaplain. With the progression of Civid-19 we have seen many changes that, hopefully, will cause the virus to die out, if not, flatten the curve. For most of us, our worlds have been turned upside down. Consequently, I’m told that religious leaders and the internet around the wor...Continue reading

20.01.2022 Hi all, I was out visiting some farmers today, most of whom were out working, so I didn't get to speak to that many. However, I thought I'd show you a few of the sights I saw whilst I was out there. This little guy (below) was sunning himself in the middle of the road on this beautiful 27 degree day, and yes, I did move it to the side of the road for his safety.

18.01.2022 We really can’t say how much Revd Peter Harris means to our church and community. Peter and Dot have had such a massive impact on everyone they meet.

15.01.2022 Hi folks. This week at Church we are starting a series on the letter to the Hebrews. As I prepare for it, I can't help noticing the centrality of Christ. There is so much about Him in the first three verses that it is exciting. If you are from around Northampton, why not come and have a listen. Jesus is still relevant today and will be seen to be so in the fullness of time. Regards, Eldred

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, This Sunday we are looking at Jesus' reassurance and comfort for His followers. The text I'll be using is John 14:1-14. Seems to me to be a fairly handy topic now as we are experiencing some unusual times and we may never get back to what we knew as "normal." But, one thing that is sure; God doesn't change. It was Corrie Ten Boom who said something like 'if you have an unknown future you can trust our known God' (That is assuming you do know Him). Frustration can... reign but, then again, there's no point in being frustrated as we can't change the present. However, we can change the attitude in which we engage and experience the present. A few personal re-directives in personal thought can help get through a sticky spot. We all have to learn to 'break down the walls of difficulty' and make things work, as it were. Mind you, I am not immune from frustration. As "Rural Chaplain" I wrote a piece for the local paper, "The Northampton News." Big problem was, because of the lock-down, I think, I was about the only article that came in apart from COVID-19 information. Consequently, they didn't have enough to print a paper. I could put it on this page. Watch this space to see if I can learn to 'break down the wall' -- without getting too frustrated. Until next time, Eldred See more

05.01.2022 Dear friends, God's Church, in Christ is the assembly of God's people. To be in that assembly is a privilege; all by the Grace of God in Christ. Even though we are God's people here we still need support. You can support us by praying for opportunities to share the gospel of Christ with farmers and townsfolk. We appreciate prayer as we cannot do God's work effectively without that backup. Or, you could donate financially if you have the desire and means. Our bank details are as follows; Diocese of North West Australia; ACF, BSB 706 001 AC# 30003508. Thank-you in anticipation. In Christ, Eldred and Geraldine Royce. P.S. We are appreciative of the prayer and financial support we already receive, so, if you are already a supporter - thank-you. E
