To achieve this we wanted a place in our home, where we could find time to be with our children. A place to relax, a place dedicated to our family time. We felt that it was important to be optimistic about the many memorable experiences our family would have. So our dream, was to create those memories by connecting in fun ways. To achieve our vision, we created our Outdoor Living Area, as a positive family environment point in our home. It became a space where our family could relax and be themselves. A space which still encourages open parent-child communication. In creating our Outdoor Living Space, we also made certain that we looked after ourselves, because we believe that parenting teenagers requires healthy parents. We did this initially by purchasing our DIY Bali Hut kit and putting it together as a family. Then we had a space that we to could use for our own relaxation.
