The system is super simple and rides behind the motorhome as though it werent there. The Ignis is so light that it hardly affects speed on the motorway at all. 09.01.2022 With Everything that has gone on this week, we thought it would be a good time to remind everyone to do your safety checks. #1 Ensure to check all connection points on the Aframe before setting off. # 2 Check the Base plate regularly by grabbing a hold of the 2 steel twist tabs on the front of the car and move them up and down , you should feel no movement of the base plate.... #3 While traveling, check on the Aframe connections and safety cables at every stop. #4 Your Towed car should be well maintained and checked over. Keep an eye on the oil, water, brakes and battery. If in doubt, have it looked over by a professional mechanic. #5 Tyres are of absolute importance when towing. See the manufacturers handbook for the recommended towing tyre pressure, and check their condition regularly.

05.01.2022 **A-FRAME TOWERS** Is your towing system certified?! Please be aware that all Australian States vary in their requirements for certification.... All States require Engineering Certification for your A-Frame. Vehicles registered in QLD, NT, VIC, TAS, SA or ACT all require engineering certification, which can be organised by one of Northcoach RVs accredited dealers. Vehicles registered in NSW or WA require an off-site engineer to certify all three components of the towing process (motorhome, car and A-Frame). This means when first having your A-Frame installed, all three components are required at the location of the installation. This also applies for second hand sales of any of these three components. When selling one or two components of the towing process, the certification does not pass on to the next buyer. Only if all three components are sold in the same transaction, does the certification pass on. In the past six months there has been at least two instances of people unknowingly purchasing towing components without certification, and if an accident had occurred, would have been un-insured. For vehicles registered in QLD, NT, VIC, TAS, SA or ACT, please understand that your certification does not require the re-certification process of NSW and WA. Please tag anyone who may be affected by this situation!
