19.01.2022 UPDATE GOOMERI PUMPKIN FESTIVAL CORONA VIRUS At the moment the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival Association is watching and waiting to assess its decisio...n in regards to cancellation of our event. With 10 weeks till our festival we are hoping things will settle down and life as we know it will return to normal. We are a very positive bunch out here and want to project that positive attitude to our community and supporters. While we are bound to abide by the decrees passed down by our government, we too are going to assess on a week by week basis as to the outcome of this situation. The final decision will be made by us 30th April, if it has not been made for us before that date. In the event of cancellation, all campground booking fees paid will be refunded. Please watch our Website and Facebook page for further updates. We thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. The GPF Team

11.01.2022 Don't be this guy, PLEASE! Being a registered club enables us to offer fully accredited courses that will teach you how to do things safely. We are fortunate to have members that are qualified, trained and willing to share their experience with other members. So if you are not already a member, this is another good reason for joining our registered club over just a "group". Through these training courses members can expect to gain more confidence, improve skill levels and competently handle their 4WDs in various terrain conditions. The courses are provided to its members at the most affordable price & not to make a profit. For more information regarding driver training or other courses available contact us through here.

06.01.2022 Shout out to the 8 vehicles that did join us for Sundays day run through the hills of Kennilworth! Morning loop included " Death Hill " and a nice drive through forest. Lunch run left Charlie Morlands and crossed over to Pullens Lane past the motor bike track. Last half of that run had mother nature intervene with some rain/showers which made afternoon run a challenge. In the afternoon run off Cambroon Lane the lead car made it up the 2nd incline with the 2nd vehicle struggling & having to use his winch 3 times to make it to the top. Third car up winched once with a good drive to make it out. Others made the decision to bypass as track was pretty slippery & met up with us on the other side. Fun & safe day had by all

04.01.2022 It is with saddened hearts and deep regret that the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival announces today, the cancellation of our event for 2020. Under the terms of the cur...rent government restrictions and legislations we are unable to proceed with our event this year. Preparation and planning was almost complete, way ahead of schedule for a normal year, so all the hard work has been done. To all those people who have assisted us in getting to this point we send our heartfelt thank you for a job so well done. Amidst all the chaos of Co-vid 19, our association will continue to work for our community, continuing to build the resilience and community strength that our town will require over the months to come. All campground bookings will be refunded in due course. We will contact all those affected to discuss refund options. To all of our very loyal and generous sponsors we say Thank you for your support for 2020. We hope you will stay with us for an even bigger and better 2021 2021 WOW!!! It seems so close now.. half of the planning is done so now we can concentrate on making our 25th celebration the best one yet. Its going to be a big year and we hope that you will join us for the ride again, when Goomeri hosts the quirkiest, fun-filled, family friendly event of the year. Please watch our website and Facebook page for whats happening moving forward and we hope to see you out and about again soon supporting our small regional town. Stay safe everyone..
