12.01.2022 Hi Everyone Just had confirmation that Keirle Park is closed to sports that do not fit into the low impact classification. This unfortunately includes us meaning tonights games are off.... This is very unfortunate but very much out of our hands. Just a reminder that there are no games next week due to Melbourne Cup. All teams will be contacted via email by the end of the week to discuss continuing the season after Christmas and into February. Thank You for your understanding and we will see you all in 2 weeks. 06.01.2022 SPRING ROUND 2 After a couple of weeks break for the weather and a horse race we are back in action. Draws for both Juniors & Seniors now confirmed.... All teams have been contacted about extending through to the end of February so please check your emails and confirm your place either way. Shorts will also be available for collection at the ground tomorrow night for those who ordered online. Limited stock for people who haven’t ordered. Online orders are guaranteed. Don’t forget that all Senior players and junior parents need to check in via the QR codes that are displayed around the ground. Please get in early we are expecting high volumes of sales. NOW THE BAD NEWS: It has been raining quite heavily the last few days. On the bright side Keirle Park is a sand based ground and drains very well so fingers crossed we can play tonight. 01.01.2022 Hi All Just a reminder re Wet Weather. Games are always on until we call them off. Once games are called off we will post an update on here. If there is no update then GAMES ARE ON. We will only cancel games for the following reasons... * Grounds are closed by Council * Ground is unavailable due to maintenace or issues beyond our control ie vandalism, lights not working etc. * Dangerous or adverse weather conditions ie heat, dust, severe storms Once games commence, they will only be cancelled if conditions are deemed dangerous. We will continue to play in rain unless the fields are unplayable. We will always do everything possible to get the games played. This may mean games are shortened to get everyone in.
