19.01.2022 If you are still hanging onto your Cable or DSL plan while NBN is available to you, I recommend migrating as soon as possible. The Fibre to the Node issues of four years ago have been resolved and a lot of the current technology is a much better upgrade to what we previously used. Feel free to give us a ring on 0401493421 if you have any questions about the NBN or are worried about making the leap.

13.01.2022 TPG customers should be aware that they have closed down their call centres and sent all help desk staff to their online chat due to the Corona Virus outbreak. Some Newport and Mona Vale TPG ADSL customers have lost internet connection and there are long delays for technicians to come out to repair the damage. If you are a TPG customer and don't have internet currently, lodge a ticket at https://www.tpg.com.au/chat/technical-support as soon as possible as you may be waiting a few weeks at this point already.

13.01.2022 Major upgrade to the NBN for the Northern Beaches - He nominated the suburbs of Palm Beach, Avalon, Bilgola Plateau, Bilgola Beach, Whale Beach and Clareville as being the early adopters. Fibre to the Home is being introduced to replace the failed Fibre to the Node in these early-adopter suburbs.

08.01.2022 Most computer parts have a lifespan of 5+ years, but in my experience, hard drives do not. To ensure your data is not irretrievably lost all of a sudden, make sure you have your important information backed up to an external drive/cloud service. Do it as often as you need to. There are many signs that a hard drive could be on its way out, but the most important sign to look out for is slowness. If your computer is taking upwards of 30 seconds to start when it used to turn on much quicker, then urgently back up important data and get the drive looked at. If you hear clicking coming from the hard drive, failure is possibly imminent and do what you need to do to protect your data.

04.01.2022 DSL internet is still in bad shape around Mona Vale to Bilgola it seems. Telstra may be playing chicken with customers to move them onto NBN rather than repair the infrastructure damaged in February’s storms. It may be faster to move onto the NBN if it is available to you rather than wait for your DSL connection to be repaired.
