21.01.2022 Mel from our Peel Street team was very pleased to present Billabong Clubhouse with the funds from our 'Cookies For A Cause' event this morning ~ marking the 72nd International Credit Union Day. Selling over 1300 cookies, we have raised $2190 for Billabong Clubhouse, a local organisation based in Tamworth which supports adults living with mental illness. Billabong Operations Supervisor, Jeff Faint (pictured with some of the Members of the Clubhouse) said the funds were very ...much appreciated as the number of visitors to the Clubhouse has doubled in the past twelve months. 14.01.2022 **BE AWARE - PayPal EMAIL SCAM.** We have had a number of Members notify us that they have received an email supposedly from PayPal requesting the Members phone them to verify their account details. The PayPal logo is very similar and looks legitimate. Once the Member phones the scam number, they ask them to verify their card details and then debit their account with unauthorised transactions. Please always be vigilant with emails - never click on unfamiliar links and if you are unsure, search and obtain phone numbers from the businesses website. Please contact us immediately if you believe you have fallen victim to a scam.
