Congrats to all the selected players for game and good luck. Hard luck for those who missed out game, keep practising hard riders. Time to bring 2 trophies home this year.

16.01.2022 Match Report Ist Grade Players were ready to perform after got first game called off and performed really well. Starting with toss Captain Gurkirtan Singh (Garry) won the toss and decided to bat first, good batting at top by Nepal Singh and Harpreet Singh scoring 21 and 26 respectively. There were bit ups and down in the innings and with finishing touch by Captain Garry and Ajmer Singh Sama with 26 and 21 scores we got all out on 156 with 10 balls to spare. While defending small total our bowlers start well as opening bowlers Jaspreet Singh (Jonty) and Ajmer Sama took 3 wickets each and later Vicky Mann also took 3 wicket to share same number tally. Harminder Singh (Sunny) took last wicket and Northern Riders Finished on winners side. Man of Match:- Ajmer Singh Sama (for 21 runs and 3/15) for the great all rounder performance.

10.01.2022 Second Grade match report Following covid guidelines and setting up place everyone done a really good job. NorthMetro CricketAssociation Keeping that winning streak and our 2nd X1 won their second league game and keep looking at top of the table. Captain Harpreet Singh (Hira) won the toss and decided to bat first. Another 50 run partnership right at top and good sensible 46 runs innings by Bhupinderjit Singh (Jacky). Couple of Handy Innings by Syed Anas and Gurpal Singh by sc...oring 32 and 19 not out respectively helps team to reach 154 in their 35 overs quota. In second innings while defending 154 our bowlers did great job and Gursharan Singh (Garry) and Sumit Sharma bowled really well into first overs and then followed by Dharwinder Singh, Captain Hira and Gurpal Singh. 08.01.2022 Hard Luck boys. Not the start we wanted of 2021, but we have to accept the result of the game. We will put more hard work in and bounce back to the other side next time. This weekend our 1st X1 lost to Ivanhoe Mavericks and 2nd X1 lost the contest to Holy trinity in single sided game. Hard Luck boys, keep the positivity from the games and come back hard next weekend.

07.01.2022 Match Report Round 6 Northern Riders vs West Preston Captain Garry lost the toss and opposition decided to bat first. Jonty and Jai bowled well in the start and send both openers in the hut. With good middle order batting, West Preston ended up with 8 for 190 in their 40 overs quota. Sunny was our bowling star as he took 4 important wickets by giving away 31 runs. Jaideep and Jonty ended up with 3 and 1 wickets each respectively. Chasing 191 we had trouble start as we lost 3... early wickets. After that Garry played a captaincy innings alongside Pavi and Mandeep. But that wasn't enough for us to get past the winning total. We lost our side in 35 overs with 44 runs short. Hard luck boys, work hard for new year and make a new start to cricket season. See more

06.01.2022 Match Report Round 6 Northern Riders VS Preston Footballer Keeping the winning momentum alive, our captain Hira win the toss and decided to bat first. We had trouble start as we lost 3 early wickets but Jyoti comes to bat with some different plans. Batted through the innings and scored 76 runs that helps team to reach 8 fo 159. Syed and Goni helped Jyoti and build some useful partnerships to get us for a respectable total. Chasing 160 Preston Footballer had really good start ...as openers got 43 runs partnership. But with the brilliant bowling spell by Gurpal Sandhu, which helped team to won the nail bitting game by 4 runs. Preston Footballer ended up with 8 for 155 in their 35 overs quota.
