22.01.2022 {Multicultural Day 2021} I Am I, You Are You, Together We Belong. Northgate’s community shone bright today. Fun, festivities, friends and families characterised today. As a community we embraced each other and the place that we belong to.... Thank you to all who played an important part in making today happen. From parents to students to staff, so many people helped to prepare for today. A special thank you to Pamela and Mrs Wiklund for embracing the vision of Multicultural Day and making this day sparkle. To our girls Priti, Sindhi, Ovee, Kanika and Sai, a very special thank you for a stunning performance. #ournorthgateschool

18.01.2022 Mother's Day is just a few more sleeps away. Don't worry Dad's we have got you covered. The P & C Mother's Day stall is happening at school this Thursday and Friday. Children can bring in an amount of money ranging from $5 - $20 and purchase a gift for their special person. Happy Mums Day!

15.01.2022 Brisbane will be the best seat in the house to see the sun, Earth and moon align tomorrow in a spectacular total lunar eclipse that’s set to delight stargazers. Turn your eyes to the sky to witness the eye-catching display from approximately 7:40pm to 10:50pm!

14.01.2022 It was lovely for our Prep Students to meet our Northgate State School Adopt-A-Cop, Officer Frank, today. A special visit to help our students know about the role of the police in our community. Thanks Officer Frank for dropping by to chat with our Preps!

12.01.2022 Year 2 had a fabulous day today as they stepped back in time and visited the Samford Historical Village. A big thank you to the team at the village who provided an enriching experience for our young students.

10.01.2022 {The Veggie Patch - Where Hope Grows} From planting to harvest time - our Year 1 students enjoyed harvesting beans from the patch. Thank you Kylie and Barbara for guiding our students in their Veggie Patch learnings. We say ‘yum’ to fresh healthy vegetables

09.01.2022 Year 4-6 headed to Gala Day today. Whilst some of Year 3 students rose to the challenge and hosted assembly. We love that each student has their own unique talent to share and there are so many opportunities to do that in our school community. Shine bright Northgate!

05.01.2022 This week we began our lunch time clubs. One of our lunchtime clubs is called the Cap Crusaders. This club recycles plastic bottle caps to support Ocean Crusaders. You can help by collecting plastic bottle caps at home and sending them into the collection box in the school foyer. We are also still recycling bread tags so keep sending them to school too! #ournorthgateschool #connectedcommunities
