24.01.2022 FINALS UPDATE | With finals approaching from Monday 16th November, our COVID safe plan for spectators and rules will adjust slightly. Please continue to abide by the COVID safe plan COVID Spectator Rules - From Monday 16th November, we will be allowing 2x spectators / guardians per athlete into the facility from the upstairs viewing area. Same sign in process will apply... - Courts and Spectators will still be required to exit the facility after their timeslot has been completed - Social distancing will still remain in the viewing area - Anyone seen to be ignoring social distancing and or the 2x parent or guardian rule will be removed from the facility. - If you are feeling unwell, please do not enter the facility at all. Stay home. GAME RULES We will resort back to the original game time rules prior to COVID: - 4x 10 minute quarters - 1 Timeout in the first half / 2 Timeouts in the second half - No timeouts in the final minute of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters - Clock will stop on all whistles in the final 3 minutes of the 4th quarter (if margin remains under 20) - Zero Tolerance policy stays in effect during finals, so please treat all referees, coaches, players, spectators and staff with the upmost respect at all times. 07.01.2022 U16 STATE CHAMPS | Mixed results again yesterday. Our 16 Boys White team managed to flip the script on Gold Coast and win their Quarter Final, but sadly went down to the Mountaineers in their Semi. They play for a Div III Bronze medal today against SC Phoenix Orange where they will have to reverse the result again after going down in a close one on Day 2. Good luck Matt Reece and his team, along with our other teams as they play out their tournaments.

07.01.2022 U16 STATE CHAMPS | Play was completed yesterday with our U16 Boys White team claiming a Div III Bronze medal after blowing SC Phoenix off the floor from just before half time. Congratulations to Matt Reece and his team. Our U16 Girls finished their campaign on a high note with a win to finish the tournament with a 4-3 record. Great development from this group from way back in October 2019 when they first hit the floorboards. Congrats to Marko Savic and team. And it was a tough 4 days for our U16 Boys Teal team who battled in Div I plagued by injuries. Just remember boys, we want the mentality that we would rather finish last place in Div I than first place in Div II. Congrats to Shane White and his team. These players will have a very VERY short off-season before hitting the floor for the 2020-21 SQJBC season.
