22.01.2022 Just over a week until we are back in business!! Woot Woot! Better dust the cobwebs off your sneakers! Please make yourself familiar with the parkrun walker and runner code. We will be putting out the call soon for volunteers to fill the upcoming roster. Please note if you are timekeeping or barcode scanning, you will now need to supply your own phone with the updated parkrun App.

19.01.2022 Morning folks, by now you should have received an email notification from parkrun Australia, advising that all parkruns in Australia have been suspended until at least the end of March due to Coronavuris. We will keep you posted when we know more. We look forward to bringing parkrun back to the lake when we have the ok to do so. Until then, stay safe and look after yourselves.

19.01.2022 Latest update from parkrun. All parkruns remain suspended until at least the end of June. At least you've got an excuse to sleep in on those cold Saturday mornings now Stay well and stay safe everyone. We miss you all and look forward to seeing you again as soon as we are able to.

12.01.2022 International Womens Day parkrun 7th March 2020 parkrun research tells us that women are much less likely to participate in parkrun, and parkrun is taking steps to change that. As part of these efforts parkrun is organising a global female-focused parkrun celebration on Saturday 7 March 2020, the day before International Womens Day (IWD). We would love for our parkrun community to join parkruns worldwide in a celebration of female participation ...on this day. To mark the occasion we are encouraging existing parkrunners to bring along a female friend, family member or a work colleague, especially one who has never been to parkrun before. If you wish you may also dress in purple (parkrun's chosen colour for the day, and the official colour of IWD). See more

No printed barcode= no time 3) Register before the run on your phone and sanitise your hands 4) Please don't come if you are unwell or symptomatic. or ugly.... 5) please don't park at shops over the road. Unless u drive a Tesla. 6) please keep the finish chute clear as you move through. No spitting. And no llamas. 7) barcode scanners are spread around the grounds not in the tent If you haven't run for 9 months maybe don't try for a PB- yes that means you! See more
