17.01.2022 NEW PROTOCOL TO REDUCE RISK OF CORONAVIRUS TO OUR STAFF AND CLIENTS: We will only see pets for illnesses that need to be addressed today... Please call when you arrive before entering the hospital 02 45712042 We will take your details and when it is your turn the vet will call you to discuss your pet’s illness Once we have spoken with you we can examine your pet but we will do that inside the hospital without you present, but we can be on the phone through the whole process We are minimising contact with the public by not having face to face consults so you will need to hand your pet to us, and we will examine it in the hospital Dogs must be on a lead and all other pets and puppies must be in a secure cage We are doing this so our staff don’t get sick so we will be available to treat your animals through this pandemic. If we get sick, we can’t be here to help. We are here to help you and your pets as much as we are capable We are short staffed as some of our staff are unable to work as they are high risk Please be patient with us through this process, we are doing the very best we can. Thanks, The team at North Richmond Vet Hospital

06.01.2022 Just an update for all our lovely clients in regards to the current situation with COVID-19. We will still be open for essential services but we have reduced staff on each day to help reduce exposure to everyone. We ask if you could please call prior to coming into the clinic to explain why you are coming in and for which pet. Please stay outside or in your car until it’s your consult to help with social distancing and we ask to only have three people in the waiting room at... any time. If you need medication please ring ahead and we will get them ready for you. Please use the hand sanitizer that we provide on the front counter and take recommended precautions such as washing hands and staying at home if possible. We are working hard to disinfect surfaces and more frequent cleaning to help provide the safest environment possible. For additional information on COVID-19 and pets please refer to the information provided by the Australian Veterinary Association: https://www.ava.com.au//information-sheet---covid-19-and-c
