23.01.2022 Please join us for the Commissioning service of Jonathan Mitchell as the new minister of Northwestern Community Church. It will be held this Sunday the 17th January at 10am at Northwestern, 201 Port Road, Queenstown. Please share this and invite friends, family and associates who may be interested in coming. The service will be followed by a celebratory shared lunch together in the hall.

22.01.2022 We uplift Ivor and Dorothy McGuire in prayer as Ivor has been taken to hospital with fainting spells. We pray dear Lord for the doctors who attend, for wisdom in finding the cause and appropriate treatment. We pray also for Dorothy and family for comfort and peace.

This week they especially need our prayers as they have a crucial immigration visit on Monday (June 1st) at 8am Berlin time. Please pray that the Lord gives them favour and success in this.

09.01.2022 This conference is well worth attending if you are able. The presenters are established scientists in a variety of fields, who believe that the Bible's account of origins stacks up better scientifically than the popular modern alternatives. Of course we humans can make mistakes in our science and in our theology, but there's no conflict between good science and good theology. And that's NOT because the two domains are disjoint (as some would suggest) - they BOTH make explic...it claims about history (unless you're into extreme liberal theology which tries to assert that historicity doesn't actually matter, and doesn't seem to care that this directly contradicts Biblical teaching :-) ). The program includes a Q&A session where you can throw any curly questions you like. The CMI presenters are not afraid of this sort of scrutiny and testing, because they've done the background work and are confident that their views and explanations stack up, including at the scientific level. This is quite refreshing in an environment where some of us can feel pressured to cave in to supposed 'science', not realising how deeply some of the 'conclusions' of modern science are predetermined by the philosophical presuppositions of the scientist before they even begin interpreting their observations. http://creation.com/conferences/proclaiming/adelaide/
