24.01.2022 NEW RELEASE FILTER ROAST *** FOR EVERYDAY DRINKING *** [Heres one we prepared before COVID struck]... For the next coffee in our line up we have a lovely everyday drinker from Blanca Riascos. Blanca is a local legend, producing fully washed and honey-processed caturra on her farm Finca La Mina at an altitude of 2,100 metres in the hamlet of Veracruz Alto, Nario. Whats noteworthy about this coffee? Two things as it turns out The first is that Blanca is practically related to us, being the adopted great mother-in-law of Frank Torres, the man who runs our operation in Colombia. Heres to keeping it in the family! Secondly, this lot is from Narios off harvest (December 2019), a time when coffee from this region is mostly ignored by buyers due to paucity of volume. Theres gold in them thar hills I tells ya! With hints of marmalade, stone fruit and nougat, plus sparkle for days, this coffee makes a cracking drop via filter brewing.
