25.01.2022 "We all feel the need for connection, for community. We are blessed at the College that we have such a fantastic community, with positive and meaningful relationships. Let me encourage you to continue to look for ways to connect with our community. Use the closed Facebook pages to connect and support each other. Check-in with someone and see how they are. Share a smile and a wave in the Kiss and Go line in the afternoon." 25.01.2022 Jesus’ leadership style was radically different to many leaders past and present. He did not seek status or power but rather lived a life of service and challenged others to do the same. We are reminded in Philippians 2: 5-11 that our attitude should be the same as that of Jesus, who did not consider equality with God something to be grasped but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant. Leadership should therefore be understood as servanthood under the rule and authority of God. As a result, the most important qualities of all leaders should be that of humility and a heart for service. 24.01.2022 Year 7 have been learning about Newton's laws and forces during science. They were tasked with imagining a safety apparatus capable of preventing an egg from cracking when dropped. The catch was they could only use items they already had and these 3 items - 2 A4 pieces of cardboard, 2 plastic bags and 2m of sticky tape. They planned and annotated their designs, culminating in the prototypes seen on the video. They had to test their apparatus first with an egg substitute before the moment of truth. This teams egg survived the drop from the D-Block balcony. The hunt is now on to find a higher drop for them to test out their eggciting safety apparatus.

23.01.2022 Whilst restrictions are still in place, the College is seeking to discover new methods to engage with each of you in a way that is meaningful. As you know, we highly value our sense of community here at the College. We value connecting with you, partnering with you, hearing from you and working together to grow young people who have a strong conviction of who God has created them to be. It is with this in mind that we are very excited to announce a new series called Monday M...oments with Mrs Marlow. This will provide opportunities each week for different small groups within our College community to connect with our Principal and member(s) of the Executive team. It is a chance to relay pertinent information and to hear any questions you may have. These meetings will be taking place via Zoom on Mondays and will go for no longer than 30 minutes. Sessions will be recorded and placed on the website at a later date, so if you are unable to attend you can still view your session. So keep your eye on your inbox for your invitation to join the conversation.

12.01.2022 "So much has been written about the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous current global circumstances that you would be forgiven for becoming a little numb to the impact of this new reality. Yet, our students have shown repeatedly throughout 2020 that they have the capacity to adapt and be agile to the ever-shifting carpet under their feet. It feels as though they are operating in a new augmented reality; it is unlikely that those who contemplated back in 2015 where they would be in 5 years, could ever have imagined this would be our new reality!"
