20.01.2022 This week is National Reconciliation Week. We have engaged in activities and learning opportunities that surround the indigenous culture. Today we sang a thank you song to the Darug and Guringgai People for sharing the land with us and we sang Taba Naba, a song written by the people of the Torres Strait Islands. For craft we explored dot painting on large sticks and made fresh white play dough to make beautiful indigenous inspired patterns...

19.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: This morning the NSW Government made a very welcome announcement that they will fund Preschools to provide 15 hours of free preschool to help support families during the next few months. There are no details yet on how this will happen but we will let you know when more information is available. If you are keeping your child at home in term 2 please stay in touch via Storypark. 17.01.2022 Welcome back to Term 4. It was lovely to see the children so happy to be back with their friends. This term we are creating 'Spoonville'. Spoonville started as an idea in lockdown to encourage communities to stay connected. At Norwood we are decorating spoons, and putting them outside our gated area. We encourage everyone to participate by adding their own spoon creations to add. If you search 'Spoonville' there are some fantastic ideas...
