24.01.2022 WOW... delightful video of a wombat (blombat) on Maria Island thanks to Jana who says: Maria Islands blombats - they might be the blonde version of Tasmanias ...wombat but after being briefly startled by the sight of my livbrava and bright orange panniers (on my bike) as she exited the ocean after her morning swim, this gorgeous wombat took it all in her stride (but declined the proffered ride and wandered off on foot towards the Commissariat Store and the Penitentiary) #Tasmania See more

22.01.2022 Winter Brook Vineyard is nestled on the rolling hills of Loira in the centre of the Tamar Valley. The boutique vineyard specialises in both wine and cider, prod...ucing grapes and apples on the property. The end result of their unique and genuine experience can be found in their rustic tasting room where you may sample the final products. With so much love given across their product range you will surely identify multiple stand outs. The property is dog friendly and visitors are encouraged to utilise shaded picnic tables and stunning views with BYO picnics. As a final quirk of your visit, talk to Frank and Nicole about their snail farm Tascargots. #farmgatefestival

As you can see from the video they ...are settling in well and have good appetites. These two females will play a crucial role in the survival of their species as the will help augment our captive breeding program. The program is part of our role within the threatened species recovery program. See more

12.01.2022 We were incredibly excited this week to see our tawny frogmouth chicks hatch. Tawny frogmouths are the masters of camouflage and remain motionless to avoid detection. They are quite often confused with owls but are actually members of the nightjar family.
