16.01.2022 Ladies & Gentleman your Week 1 NFL TV guide is here! Full times & info: ussdu.com.au/nfltvguide

11.01.2022 Well, we are expecting GT to make contact with us in the very near future regarding our entry into the league. Their Board gave us an undertaking at a meeting a few months ago that at the mid-point of the season (this weekend) they would be able to give us more clarity on moving forward. We will keep you all informed as to the outcome.

10.01.2022 This Sunday 6 May 2018 sees the 2nd Sharks Open Day at Shark Park (Cosgrove HS). As before, the event will be informative and an opportunity to get to know the club. The fun will begin at 1.00pm sharp and concludes around 4.00pm or when the barbecue and drinks are exhausted. If you ever fancied giving this great game a go, then here's your opportunity in a friendly, well-organised environment, with no expectations being forced upon you. Hope to see you all there - Sharks on three!!!

09.01.2022 Yes, very disappointed. However we see this as another hurdle to cross and want to assure all of our members and supporters that we will continue conversations with Gridiron Tasmania to ensure that we put our best foot forward, and help grow and strengthen the football community in this state. We appreciate all the messages of support and will continue to update over the coming weeks.

05.01.2022 Good news! Gridiron Tasmania now considers itself strong enough to consider joining the national gridiron competition. Some excellent coverage this evening on Southern Cross News, announced the league's desire to develop the state league into one that is capable of being competitive on the national stage.... The Sharks welcome this development. Just over 12 months ago, the lack of strength in the league was the primary reason given when Gridiron Tasmania refused to progress the club's application to join the league as its 5th team. It is now very pleasing to hear that things have changed. We look forward to hearing, or better still reading, details of how Gridiron Tasmania intend to join the national competition. A league strategy to ensure success in its endeavours along with a detailed and time-scaled action plan should be made available to all on social media to guarantee buy-in, not just by the league and it's members/teams/players etc, but also by a much wider audience of supporters, potential sponsors and the relevant governmental organisations, so essential in this process. We also await details of how Gridiron Tasmania intend to widen its competition in the state by expanding the number of teams and enabling quicker overall development of the game through much improved competition and attracting more people to engage with the game.
