12.01.2022 The NPPA was founded in July 2015. It is the brainchild of Mohammed Massoud Morsi https://www.facebook.com/mohammedmassoudmorsi/?ref=br_rs. Two years in progress, a number of large NGO's are committed to the idea and the number of photographers as well. Most of them are highly experienced and professional and follow the mission of the alliance, as written by Erik Johnson of Danchurchaid and photojournalist, Mohammed Massoud Morsi : WE STRIVE FOR A WORLD WHERE IMAGES OF PEOPLE IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES SHAPE UNDERSTANDING TOWARDS POSITIVE CHANGE. Welcome to our alliance.

06.01.2022 This week we have informed involved photographers and organisations involved of the theft of our business idea and initial business strategy documents by the owner and 'founder' of the ngo photograpers alliance Ryner St. John. Stealing intellectual property and material that is copyrighted by authorship is not how you start an organisation that promotes itself as teaching ethical values. Such an action is easily named. The NPPA's constitution that protects people in vulnerabl...e places and holds photographers accountable for their behaviour are essential parts of our humanitarian work. We only use photographers that are familiar with the codes of conduct for media personnel in humanitarian work under the sphere project. Copyright and protection of creative works by photographers, writers and artists are an essential parts of our work. Please stand against copyright theft and send a clear signal to those who do not understand that taking someone else's words will never make them your own, especially when you do not know what the words actually mean.
