24.01.2022 Don't forget to remind your children to collect their instruments from the school store cupboard today. Band via ZOOM will resume tomorrow morning. (Zoom details will be emailed soon). For lunchtime rehearsals, Mr David Sismey is running a music class with a difference, following all the guidelines. Children are required to bring a pencil and their band bags for this. Training band kids will receive their band bags at school tomorrow. No instruments will be required at school until we advise otherwise.

17.01.2022 Thanks to our tutor for William, he started his online lessons Saturday morning as a trial. His brother helped too, showing that these online lessons could be a family affair! Mr Sismey (aka our band director at Normo) is also Williams tutor. The sound was great, the video clear and it was great to see the children interacting and not missing out. William is going through some theory here, whilst Louis plays the notes! It was great. Even the pets enjoyed it!

17.01.2022 This could be our new location for Band Camp 2021. They have our dates, and a good program for all. It seems okay and the program looks good. It is a 45 minute journey, so not too far to collect kids on the Sunday.

14.01.2022 Many people are emailing about band tomorrow, particularly morning rehearsal. The Prime Ministers address was late and it has not given us time to ascertain if Band is affected. We will go by the direction of our Principal, who is governed by the NSW Department of Education. However, we will know more tomorrow. We can not say it is off as many children will be dropped at school for it. However, as alway, please decide what is best for your family. Mr Sismey will be there to greet your children, and band will be on for those that can make it. Thank you for your understanding.

09.01.2022 Off the back of our excitement at your generous contributions at the concert on Sunday we are ECSTATIC to share with you that a further $190 was contributed via direct debit. We have now covered the cost of the camp. Thank you wonderful parents for supporting the band program.

02.01.2022 A HUGE thank you to all those parents who put their hand in their pocket today to help cover the cost of the camp. We collected $425 which was amazing. We are still $75 in the red. Direct debit contributions to the Band bank account can still be made. Every dollar helps
