22.01.2022 Been a busy time over the last few weeks. Dug this hole in rock at the Orchards in Jensen, 15 hour Rock dig. A 11 metres long and 3 metres wide with a large beach area. Waiting now for the concrete to cure before starting the rock waterfall and finishing work.

21.01.2022 Replaced a ABGAL Liners & Covers liner today for a customer I originally did in 2001 when I first started my business. Only for a hole being put in the liner that wasn't repairable the liner would have done many more years. A very happy customer now has the pool looking like new for our long hot summer.

19.01.2022 The Doggie Lagoon is starting to take shape at Townsville Pet Resort with the steel reinforcement in place and concreted yesterday. NQ Tropical Pools & Renovations are proud to be part of this project.

19.01.2022 This pool was leaking around 50mm a day. Once we took the tiles off around the skimmer box it was soon apparent where the leak was. After sealing up around the skimmer we gave the interior a face lift with 2mm white pebble and new tiles.

15.01.2022 An ABGAL Liners & Covers liner can last the distance. This is the date stamp on a liner I replaced last year, 20 years out of a liner is not bad going. However I have replaced them at an older age, 26 years old in fact. It just shows if a liner is looked after and the water chemistry is keep correct an ABGAL pool installed by a qualified liner installer liners can last.

12.01.2022 This pool had calcium leaching out of the black render with unsightly white stains throughout the pool. The pool was renovated with a gold pebble copping and a black and gold pebble interior giving a natural look you would see in a creek.

11.01.2022 Dig day at Townsville Pet Resort NQ Tropical Pools & Renovations are proudly building the new " Doggie Pool / Lagoon " for man's best freind so they can enjoy a nice cool dip and play while their owners are away. " Woof, woof it's time for a swim, not quite yet but by mid December the new 11 metre x 7 metre Doggie Lagoon will be open for business. Anyone in Townsville that needs their pets looked after while away go and see Clint and his friendly staff for the " best stay in Townsville".

11.01.2022 A major renovation started in the first week of December. A new concrete pool was constructed inside a 30 year old pool with a larger step out being installed with a hand rail to allow for easy access. The renovation was completed within 2 and half weeks. Another happy customer with family arriving for Christmas to enjoy the new pool.

08.01.2022 A 30 year old+ Driclade Pool with badly pitted Aluminum walls was transformed by sheeting the walls with PVC Sheets and a ABGAL Liners & Covers colour Maui Print liner installed giving this pool another 10 plus years.

07.01.2022 More photos of Normanton Caravan Park. These photos were taken back in 2005 when the pool had old "Scum Gutters" in it and I replaced then with 4 Skimmer Boxes. I was told the pool was built sometime around 1965. This pool was leaking badly and with new skimmer boxes and an ABGAL Liners & Covers custom made liner the pool had a new lease of life. To build a new 25m x 10m pool in Normanton Far North Queensland would have been over $250,000 where the full renovation in 2005 was around $30,000.

06.01.2022 A pool affected by the Townsville floods. Before and after photos replacing the waterline tiles and installing an ABGAL Liners & Covers colour Bahama Print liner. The transformation was unbelievable.

04.01.2022 Just finished a 7.5 x 3 meter pool for House of Pawz doggie day care centre. We were confined to a narrow part of the property but the end result the Dogs are going to love it with a beach entry that caters for the small dogs going from 100mm deep to 350mm deep. The pool then continues to a 1metre deep swimming area for the larger dogs. If you need your doggie looked after and socialize with other dogs for the day give Laura and her team a call. They would to meet you and your loving doggie.

03.01.2022 Two weeks ago we replaced a liner in a 25 metre x 10 metre pool at the Normanton Caravan Park that we originally installed back in 2005. Not a bad life in a commercial situation. Before we installed the first liner in 2005 this pool was leaking approximately 45,000 liters of water per day through cracks in the floor but with an ABGAL Liners & Covers pool liner it fixed their leaking problem.

03.01.2022 This is an old concrete water tank the customer wanted to convert into a swimming pool. Due to the tank having numerous cracks through it an ABGAL Aqualux Vinyl Pool Liner was perfect to waterproof the old tank.
