25.01.2022 It was great to be involved in Willows Shopping Centre's NAIDOC week celebrations today. NQAV supplied audio equipment for the event held outside Woolworths. Kit for the event included a Turbosound powered speaker, head-worn microphone for the singer, and handheld microphone to mic the Didgeridoo. 10.01.2022 The NQAV tech team has been busy kitting out Heatley State High School's Cyclone Proof shelter with new audio visual equipment this month. Two Hitachi CPWX8750W installation projectors were paired with 180 retractable projector screens, providing advanced video display technology with bold, brilliant colours and incredible image clarity. Sound output is managed by a control space Digital Sound Processor combined with Bose Control Space CC-64 interface, accompanied by HX7B ...variable array speakers and sub system installed in the ceiling. 09.01.2022 We're a bit wowed by recent installations at the Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City in China. More than a dozen Christie 1DLP and 3DLP projectors have been installed to optimise user experience in the Rage of the Seas and Octopus interactive rides. Both attractions feature eye-catching projections accomplished with the Christie DWU850-GS 1DLP laser projectors, and Christie Boxer 4K30 3DLP projectors respectively. Rage of the Seas is a rapids adventure that invites visi...tors to experience the ferocity of tornadoes at sea by combining a characteristic dark ride with sophisticated lighting, projection, audio and special effects. The ride features detailed projections of the raging tornado on a 13m high, 12m widescreen using nine Christie DWU850-GS laser projectors, which are ceiling-mounted and placed in weather-proof enclosures to repel moisture and humidity. At the Octopus Attack 5D theater attraction, visitors can enjoy an immersive visual experience presented by two Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors on a gigantic curved screen measuring 23m in length and 11m in height.
