17.01.2022 There is a truly delightful bit of circular economy work going on here... Last year, 58 people supported NSP Development in a crowd-fund effort, and this assistance allowed me to return to Tasmania and focus on building my new career in the hemp industry. Over the past ten months, I started doing occasional freelance writing work for HempToday magazine; secured a part-time role as the Executive Officer at the Tasmanian Hemp Association, and worked hard on the two property de...velopment projects where I am using hempcrete as a building material. In my role at the THA, I was tasked with refining a business case looking at doing some processing of waste grain stubble in Tasmania, which led to me to then take the lead on the X-Hemp project. My new adjunct business is now going to own the machine that creates the hurd for the hempcrete houses I'm building for NSP. This news was shared in an article today from my mates at HempToday, and so the circle has come full round ;) If it wasn't for the 58 folk trusting me last year, none of this would be happening, and I am so grateful to each and every one of you. 14.01.2022 The workshops for early arrivals to the second biennial Australian Industrial Hemp Conference kicked the event off with a bang yesterday. Attendees who had made it to Fremantle, Western Australia a day in advance of the official program starting today gained a huge amount of information during the presentations and intimate Q&A sessions with Gary Rogers from Hemp Homes Australia; Johan Tijssen from Geosip and Achalen Holmes from Aglive. With such high calibre speakers as a warm-up, and a very fun pre-event mixer last night providing stellar networking opportunities while being served hemp gin, hemp beer and delicious canapes, it looks like conference attendees are in for a real treat over the coming days!

08.01.2022 NSP founder Andi Lucas was invited by the organisers of the second biennial Australian Industrial Hemp Conference in Fremantle, Western Australia to cover the event in her capacity as a freelance contributor to HempToday magazine and as a representative of the Tasmanian Hemp Association. The pre-conference workshops and day one of the event were absolutely fantastic, proving huge opportunities for networking, learning and progressing the hemp industry within Australian and international markets.
