Arboriculture Australia are seeking representatives from NSW to review the two upcoming Minimum Industry Standards documents:... MIS315 Chainsaw Operation and Tree Falling and MIS501 Tree Risk Assessment. MIS315 Chainsaw Operation and Tree Falling is aimed at Certificate II and Certificate III practical workers and covers: Maintenance General operation Trim and cross cut Tree falling Chainsaw use at height MIS501 Tree Risk Assessment is aimed at consultants, urban forest managers and similar, and covers: Framework of tree risk assessment Different methodologies of tree risk assessment Responsibilities of different parties Risk assessment process Minimum requirements for risk assessment reports.
