17.01.2022 Congratulations to Filoi Eneliko for securing a position which has traditionally been a male dominated arena. Its always a win to see diversity being shared and personal achievments being duly recognized. Wishing you and your team every success.

15.01.2022 Sugar Fest 2020 The day continued with much spoken word, community performances and cutural performances marking the recognition of the Australian South Sea Islander national recognition day inclusive of the broader communities and kinship with Torres Strait Islands and the Pacific diaspora. The location of this year's event was held at Pirrama Park, Pyrmont, which is a site of great significance for Australian South Sea Islanders as Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour) is where Colonial Sugar Refinery (CSR) known historically as Sugar Wharf received sugar cane from the states to export in founding Australia’s strong economic base built by Blackbirded men predominantly stolen from Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.

13.01.2022 Remembrance Day (11.11.20) The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front after the bloodshed of World War I. Over the past century, this moment has been adopted across the globe as a time to remember those who served and sacrificed in all wars and conflicts. This Remembrance Day, RSL is asking all Australians to Remember to Remember to commit to pausing for just one minute to remember those who gave their lives ...in service to their country, those who returned home injured or ill, and those who bravely serve our country today. #remembertoremember
