15.01.2022 Jules McConnel Canopy Course @ Skydive Port MacQaurie. It was a wet, windy and cloudy weekend in Port Mac , and unfortunately resulting in the plane not leaving the ground. However on the Plus Side.... Our Canopy Course went ahead with Jules McConnel and what a wealth of Knowledge all participants had access to. Covering all things canopy, up in the sky to maintenance and even a couple cheeky 4 way dirt dive exits to name a few. From all participants ranging from 41 jumps to 8,900 Jumps we all walked away learning a lot and are looking forward to putting what we learnt into practice real soon. So a massive mucho Grassy-Ass to Jules McConnel for coming to our new DZ and being so informative. To Nsw-Act Parachute Council for their support in funding the canopy course. And of Course to Skydive Port Macquarie for allowing us to come in and take over the place for a couple days.. You Rock!!!! #getintoskydiving #NSWPC #SkdivePortMacquarie #APF

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Emily Brougham for receiving the Lisa Perdichizzi Scholarship - an annual grant that aims to support an individual through upskilling, traini...ng and leadership development to improve female retention and growth in our sport. Emily will use the scholarship to complete a Graduate Certificate in Educational Neuroscience at CQ University. Her aim is to better understand educational neuroscience, so she can help people in our sport enhance their learning experiences and provide individuals with an optimal learning environment. This knowledge will also be a beneficial tool for current or future instructors to improve their own teaching skills. Head to Women in Adventure Sport - Australian Skydivers for further information. We pay our respects t...o the Elders past, present and emerging. We love this photo of Marley Nolan-Duncan FlyAbout flying the Indigenous flag. This was one of my proudest moments to date, flying our Mobs flag. Marley started skydiving 13 years ago. He now works as a skydiving instructor & was the first Indigenous Skydiver to earn himself a place on the Australian Canopy Piloting Team. Rodney Benson
