16.01.2022 FEEDBACK - opening a can of worms here..... Usually after a big event like the recent storms and associated flooding, NSW SES do an "after action review". All the members get together and discuss the WWW. What we did... What we did well What we can do differently next time Where we often dont do well is when we ask our members and make it about what did and didnt work in our systems, we rarely ask you, the community were assisting, what you think. So this time were seeking feedback from you. What did SES do well and what could we have done differently as a service. Please keep the comments respectful (i.e. no abuse, if someone raises a negative issue dont write 500 comments about it, no singling out anyone by name and no swearing or the Facebook filters will hide your feedback) We want to hear your experiences with SES in the past week, from the moment you picked up the phone to the moment one of our people (or one of our colleagues in Rural Fire Service (RFS), Volunteer Rescue Service (VRA) or Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW)) came to your house or called you. If you have something nice to say please do that too, dont focus on negatives. Your feedback will be shared at our after action review if it relates to Canterbury Unit, or passed up the chain if it relates to another section. Also if you have suggestions as to what in our response would have been better for you please share that. Be mindful that we are doing this to improve our service to you, so keep it constructive. Remember that the members of the Canterbury SES are all volunteers, as are the members of the RFS and VRA. Thank you.
